Chef Max is here, in beta. A porcelain chef who answers any cooking question: why this step, what to do when the sauce splits, what "until fragrant" smells like. He has a seat in every tab's header, beside the step you're cooking, on every recipe and at the foot of every technique card. He answers from the same lexicon as the cards and hands you the technique when there is one. "Ask Rikaido" is gone; Max is the one way to ask. He comes with the coach (Rikaido Pro) during the beta. Every technique now plays as a short film in Learn: six beats, paced by your thumb, and "Today's technique" on the Learn tab, one a day.

The kitchen opens before the account. Browse Learn, Explore and shared recipes without signing up; an account is asked for only when you cook, create or keep something, and the app says why. The coach is open: unlimited tokens, unlimited refining, and a photo for every dish you publish. All of Learn stays free, forever. The kitchen was rearranged. One header sits above every tab, the counter and the language switch have their own doors on the cook bar, and a recipe's re-read now leads with what you have to fix. Each step shows exactly what it uses, and a shared cook link opens straight into cook mode.
