Your favourite song isn't in the game. SliceForge fixes that in about a minute. Drop any audio file — mp3, wav, flac, m4a or ogg — and SliceForge analyses the track: tempo, beat grid, drum hits, song structure. Then it builds a complete map that follows the community mapping rules: correct parity so your wrists never reset, no vision blocks, notes strictly on the beat, calm verses and dense choruses. WHAT YOU GET • Four difficulties per song — Easy, Normal, Hard, Expert; generate the ones you actually play • The full arsenal: walls, bombs, double hits, dot notes, chains and arcs • A density slider: calmer or busier, your call • Your branding: your own cover art and your name as the mapper • A different map every time — change the seed, get a fresh variant of the same song • A library of everything you have made, ready to export again • Interface in English, Russian and Japanese PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything runs on your Mac. No account, no cloud, no uploads — your music never leaves the computer, and the app works offline. WHERE THE MAPS GO Every finished map is saved as a standard map folder and a zip in Downloads/SliceForge, ready to be installed the way you normally add custom songs to your device. GOOD TO KNOW The output is the standard community map format used by Beat Saber* custom songs. You need a device set up for custom songs and audio you have the right to use. * SliceForge is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Beat Games or Meta. It ships no game content, songs or artwork — it only creates map files from the audio you provide.

A major generator update and a new interface. Notes now land on the rhythm: tempo is detected to a hundredth of a BPM, and on live recordings the grid follows the performance. Maps follow the song's structure: a repeated chorus plays with the same patterns, a new section brings new movement. Horizontal swings, rotations and wide play are in. Difficulty levels were retuned so that density, hand movement and double hits match hand-made maps — Expert now plays like an Expert. Loud parts of a song get more notes, quiet ones fewer. Maps are easier to rework in an editor: on tracks with a steady tempo, notes sit on the grid lines and the editor's measures match the song's bars. You can watch the finished map right in the app, with notes flying to the music and the song's sections below. Regenerate just one part of a song, pick a style (Balanced, Classic, Flow, Fitness), choose what to follow (drums, or vocals and melody) and set note speed per difficulty.
