A DAILY TARGET THAT FOLLOWS YOUR DAY
Your target is calculated from your height, weight, age and goal. In smart mode it also takes activity from Apple Health into account: in the morning it leans on your two-week average, and by evening it converges on what you actually did. If the weight-loss pace you picked would push the target below a safe floor, the app says so plainly instead of quietly handing you a lower number.

HONEST ABOUT THE LIMITS
Recognising a meal from a photo is an estimate, not a measurement. It relies on how the food looks and gets things wrong, especially with mixed dishes and hidden ingredients. For accuracy, use the barcode scanner, the database search, or your own saved dishes.
Kado is not a medical device and does not replace advice from a doctor or dietitian. Targets are calculated with widely used formulas and serve as a guideline.
YOUR DATA
Your diary lives on your device and syncs with your account. You can delete your account, and all of its data, from inside the app. We do not sell data and we do not show ads.
SUBSCRIPTION
Kado Premium is $7.99 per month, auto-renewing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID on purchase confirmation. It renews automatically within 24 hours before the end of the current period unless cancelled beforehand. Manage or cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

• Menus you have opened once now open instantly and keep working offline
• Pull down on the restaurants list to refresh it

Your daily ring
• Going over your target now shows by how much, instead of a minus sign
• The ring turns red and breathes, so you can see it without reading the number
Fewer silent waits
• A banner appears if we are doing maintenance on the server, so a failed sync is never a mystery
• Restoring a purchase now tells you what is happening while the store is being asked
