The citizenship interview is spoken. Your practice should be too.
Download Civisay free on iPhone and iPad. Study every official USCIS civics question free and take your first face-to-face mock interview free. Lifetime Pro is optional: one in-app purchase for unlimited mock interviews. No subscription.
Civisay helps you move from recognizing an answer to saying it calmly, clearly, and from memory. Study the official USCIS civics questions, practice face to face with Marcus, and get focused feedback without uploading your voice or transcript.
PRACTICE THE INTERVIEW
Step into a realistic spoken mock interview with a prerecorded virtual practice officer. Answer out loud, move through a complete round, and see what you knew, what was missing, and what to practice next.
STUDY SMARTER, NOT LONGER
Use adaptive review built around spaced repetition. Questions that feel difficult return sooner. Stronger answers wait longer. Every session gives more attention to the material that needs it.
PREPARE FOR YOUR TEST
- Complete 2008 and 2025 civics study paths
- Clear spoken questions and reviewed answer audio
- Full mock interviews based on the selected test
- Native layouts for iPhone and iPad
- Focused review after each interview
- Current governor, senator, representative, and national officeholder answers
KEEP CHANGING ANSWERS CURRENT
Some citizenship-test answers change while you study. Civisay refreshes current officeholder information from trusted sources, so you are less likely to rehearse a name that is already out of date.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your spoken interview answer and transcript stay on your device. On compatible Apple devices, Civisay uses Apple's on-device speech technology and Foundation Models framework to understand the meaning of your answer and shape focused coaching. No account is required. No cloud AI receives your answer. No third-party ads follow you.
FREE TO DOWNLOAD
Every civics question and all study sessions are free. Your first face-to-face mock interview is free. Lifetime Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase for unlimited video and audio mock interviews with deeper coaching. It is not a subscription.
Civisay is an independent educational app. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by USCIS or the U.S. government. Always rely on your USCIS notices and official USCIS guidance for the requirements that apply to your case. Civisay does not provide legal advice.
Your thumb has done enough studying. Time to give your voice a turn.
PRACTICE BEFORE YOU FEEL READY
Try three free questions in Learn with Marcus. Forgot an answer? That's what practice is for. Get a little help, say it again, and try recalling it later. You don't have to finish the flashcards first.
FEWER TAPS. MORE TALKING.
Choose spoken practice once per session. Marcus asks, then listens. See your words appear and get feedback when you finish. More interview rhythm, less button choreography.
GIVE YOUR FLASHCARDS A VOICE
A gentle invitation during longer study sessions helps you switch from reading answers to saying them in a mock interview. Want to keep studying? Your next card will be right there.
SEE HOW FAR YOU'VE COME
Revisit your latest results and follow your scores over time. Three recent interviews keep Progress tidy; See all opens the rest. Clearer Interview gaps show which answers need another round.
YOUR REPRESENTATIVE HAS A NAME
“Answers will vary” isn’t it. A clearer district lookup helps you find the right person in Study, mock interviews, and result reviews. Save your district result and use the answer across your practice.
LOCAL QUESTIONS, WITHOUT THE DETOUR
Haven't met your representative in Study yet? No homework required. A quick address check personalizes their answer across interviews and Study. Skip the lookup and we'll use another question—your score stays put.
CURRENT ANSWERS, OUT LOUD
Your representative has a name—and now the audio gets its turn. We fixed a timing issue that could leave personalized answers silent after a lookup.
MORE CARE WITH EVERY QUESTION
Video now gets its first frame ready before Marcus starts speaking. Automatic playback and Replay use the same preparation, with a limited recovery attempt when a display problem is detected. New reliability diagnostics help us investigate interruptions.
LESS WAITING. LESS GUESSING.
Smaller video downloads and smoother transitions help keep practice moving. The opening memory lesson now uses the same rating colors as Study, so Again, Hard, Good, and Easy feel familiar wherever you see them.
All civics study, quick practice, and your first full mock interview are free. Want more full interviews? Lifetime Pro is one payment, no subscription.
Bring your “umm…” We’ll start there.
