Weather now gives up waiting after 12 seconds instead of leaving you on a blank screen when the network stalls.

Faster maps: tiles now load in far fewer round trips, so the storm and lightning layers appear quickly even far from our servers. Map labels are softer and no longer doubled up.

Map basemap changed again: storm cells and lightning could fail to appear over the map. Weather now shows your last reading straight away instead of a spinner while it refreshes.

Map basemap replaced: the previous provider started stamping an 'API key required' watermark over the map. Maps are clean again.

Faster startup. Fixed a rare crash on the map. The weather card now shows today's high and low. When no storm is nearby the map is shorter, so the hourly forecast fits on the first screen.
