Make the cut
• Trim and split clips, remove unwanted sections, and arrange video and audio across multiple tracks.
• Step through frames, jump between edit points, and mark exact ranges.
• Save your work as a project or open a single file for a quick edit. Your original media stays intact.
Add your voice
• Record narration with Voicer.
• Use Describer to record audio description between dialogue and write a timed description transcript.
• Write and time captions with Captioner, or import SRT and WebVTT files.
Season the sound
• Balance music, dialogue, and narration with track volume, pan, and stereo controls.
• Shape recordings with Equalizer, noise reduction, reverb, and other effects.
• Match narration to your project’s audio and lower background sound during description clips.
Finish with a flourish
• Connect clips with fades, cross dissolves, wipes, and other transitions.
• Adjust color, brightness, crop, and more with editable filters.
• Create titles, lower thirds, backgrounds, gradients, and silence.
Serve it up
• Export a complete project, a selected range, or an individual clip.
• Choose video formats including H.264, H.265, and ProRes, or audio formats including M4A, Apple Lossless, FLAC, and WAV.
• Include captions in the picture or export them separately.
