A new Plan, day summaries, families and a smarter Lock Screen. • The Plan is rebuilt: the trip assistant, the day's route map and a rail of days sit at the top, and every day gets its own card. Past days fade, and today shows where you are. • Summarize any day from its page. Before the day you get a brief of what's coming; afterwards, a journal of how it went. Copy it from Export day. Needs Apple Intelligence. • Send a day to Desandar, the private journal app: choose Send to Desandar in Export day and the day opens there as a journal entry, written up for you when Apple Intelligence is on. • The hourly forecast is now part of each day card, and it tells you when rain is coming. • The Lock Screen Live Activity follows the whole trip day and always shows what's next. You get one card for the day instead of one per journey. • Families: add your children's profiles and packing once and share the family from the You tab. Their packing follows them onto every trip. • Settle up by household: group the people who pay together, and balances and suggested payments work out between households. Each expense is still split per adult. • Imported trips can bring their expenses and households with them, and you can link each new traveler to a contact before the trip is made. • Pick a train straight from the Apple Maps timetable in the leg editor. • When there's a gap in your route, the assistant asks how you'll cover it instead of assuming a car. Choose the new Lift option when friends or family are picking you up. • New Shortcuts: Save Place adds a place to a trip, and Set Day Plan retimes a day from a list. • Each stop's notes show on the day route, and a journey draws as its own stretch of the day. • Tap the map's location button to allow location, and then it shows you where you are. • Pasted bookings: a return journey is recognized, the airline code is split off a flight number, and a leg's ends link to places already in your trip. • Fixes: times stay whole at large text sizes, iCloud no longer warns about rejected changes after a single retry, and packing questions stop once a trip has begun.
