Design a bridge, run the load test, and let a real physics engine decide: can you cross, or does it crash? Cross or Crash is a bridge-building puzzle with an honest engineer underneath it. Lay road, wood, steel and cable across the gap, then run the load test and watch a stickman walk out onto what you built. There is no scripted outcome. A real 2D truss solver works out the force in every single member, checks each one against what that material can actually take — including the way a long thin strut buckles rather than snaps — and decides from that whether your span holds or comes down. BUILD ON A REAL BLUEPRINT Tap joint to joint on a snapping grid. Four materials, each with its own cost and strength. Undo, redo, erase, and a running budget so you always know what the span is costing you. SEE THE WEAK SPOT BEFORE IT BREAKS Turn on the live stress view and every member is coloured by how hard it is working. The beam that is about to fail is the one glowing red — before you ever press Test. EARN YOUR STARS Crossing safely is one star. Beating the par budget is another. Holding with a real safety margin is the third. A 0–1000 efficiency score rewards the elegant answer over the heavy one. The Daily Bridge is generated from the date, so everyone in the world gets the same crossing — clear it to keep your streak alive.
