• Share your take your way: choose how your pitch shows (Meter or Lines) and how you appear (Circle or Full screen). Full-screen videos export faster. • Warm-ups: a new "nay" sound in Standard and Full. • Recordings on the lock screen pick up where you left off, and Back and Next move through your list. • Smoother pitch meter when you play a recording back. • Recordings open faster. • New weekly and annual plans. The annual plan starts with a free week.

Homeoke is now a singing practice app. • Warm up: a new tab with guided warm-ups, Quick, Standard or Full, that move with your range. • A score for every take: the pitch lane shows the song's notes and yours as you sing, and you get a grade when you finish. Compare any phrase with the original. • Daily practice: the days you practised, today's two to-dos and your weekly goal, at the top of Songs. • Tap a recording to open it full screen, with its grade and lyrics. • A more accurate pitch meter: it now follows the lead singer only, so backing singers and talking no longer throw it off. • Lyrics search has separate title and artist fields. • A new demo song: Gravity.

Lyric videos now include your camera recording, and there's a new pitch meter for your own take. • Your camera recording in the lyric video: if you recorded your take with the camera on, the lyric video you share now shows that recording in a circle above the lyrics, and ends when it does. Your pitch can be in it too. • A pitch meter for your own take: after every take, your pitch shows in blue beside the lyrics as it plays back. It stays with the take in Recordings. • The song's pitch meter is easier to read: the note to sing shows big, right behind the lyrics. • Share is there the moment you save a take. • A new key dial: drag it down to go higher. • Hold to restart or discard while recording, so a stray tap can't lose a take. • Skip long intros, and a countdown to the first line. • Your range now counts your highest notes.

Reverb on your takes, and a fix for a bug that could leave the app with no sound. • As soon as you finish recording, mix in Room, Studio or Hall and set how much. You hear it before you save, and it is kept in the file. • Fixed: tapping a practice mark while the song was paused could leave the app with no sound at all. • Anonymous usage data, so we can improve Homeoke. No account, no identifier, and never your songs, recordings or lyrics. Switch it off any time in Settings.

Sharing that works wherever you send it, and a lock screen that does what you press. • Share the version you are singing. When you have taken the vocals out or moved the key, Share now asks whether to send that file or the one you imported. • Songs and takes you share play properly in other apps now, WeChat included. • A shared lyric video carries the same lyric timing you see in the app, and the share sheet offers Save Video to put it in Photos. • The lock screen and Control Centre show the right song and answer play, pause, back and next. • Tap any line of the lyrics to move the song there. • The lyrics, the scrubber, the marks and the notes now follow what you hear rather than what the phone has already sent. On AirPods that was a quarter of a second out. • Closing a song puts the library list back where you left it. • Fixed: a phone call or another app taking over the audio could leave a song stuck with no way back. • Fixed: skipping from the lock screen no longer stops on a song that has lyrics but no audio.

A new look, and a first run that shows you how it works. • Every screen redrawn. Songs have covers now, and the app has a new icon. • A guided first run: add a song, hear the vocals come out, move it into your key, and record a take, one step at a time. • Demo songs, so you can try all of it before adding music of your own. • Sing with no backing at all, when you only want to record your voice. • A count-in before the recording starts. • Send someone a link to a song. • The scrubber shows how much of the song has been separated, so you can see what is ready to sing over. • Homeoke is a paid app from this version on, with 7 days free on the monthly plan. If you had Homeoke before this update, it stays yours in full, free and permanent, on your Apple Account.
