Our Wallet is an expense tracker and settlement app built for two people living together — couples, newlyweds, and roommates. Beyond recording day-to-day spending by category, Our Wallet handles what most apps don't: custom split ratios per category (say, groceries 70:30 while rent stays 50:50) and expenses paid on each other's behalf. At the end of the month, the app tells you exactly who pays whom, and how much. WHO IT'S FOR • You just moved in together and want a fair way to share costs • You'd like to split based on income — not always straight down the middle • "I paid for yours" keeps getting forgotten • Your spreadsheet works, but entering data has become a chore KEY FEATURES ◆ Quick expense entry Pick a date, category, amount, and who paid — done. Add subcategories and notes (like the store name) when you want more detail. Monthly lists and category summaries show where your money goes. ◆ Scan a receipt to log it Snap a photo of the receipt (or pick one from your library) and the date, amount, category, and store name are filled in for you — just check and save. Everything is read on your device; receipt images never leave your phone. Change the category once and the app remembers it for that store next time. ◆ Custom split ratio per category Set each category's split anywhere from 0–100%. Groceries 70:30, rent 60:40 by income, everything else 50:50 — whatever feels fair for the two of you. ◆ Personal expenses, settled together Paid for something that's really your partner's? Flag it as their personal expense and it's automatically included in the monthly settlement. ◆ Automatic monthly settlement The app combines the month's expenses, your category ratios, and personal expenses into one final amount with a clear direction — like "Alex → Sam $123". Tap "Mark as settled" to keep a record. ◆ Prepaid balance Prefer to hand over a lump sum up front? Record it once, and each month's settlement is deducted from the balance automatically — nothing to hand over each month. ◆ Recurring templates Rent, utilities, subscriptions: register them once and they're added to your expenses every month automatically. Who pays, the payment day, and the split ratio can change from one period to the next. ◆ A shopping list for two Keep a shared list of what to buy. You'll get a notification when your partner adds something. When you log an expense, you can mark items in the same category as done in one go, so nothing stays on the list after it's bought. Items can carry a link, too. ◆ Home Screen widgets See this month's total and settlement estimate at a glance, or jump straight into entry from your favorite categories. A shopping list widget and the Control Center controls "Add to Shopping List" and "Add Expense" get you there even faster. ◆ Insights tab Build your own analysis screen from seven board types: monthly spending trend, category breakdown vs. last month, per-category trend, how the two of you have split costs over time, this month's pace, and a yearly summary. ◆ Built for two Sign in with Apple or Google, then invite your partner with a simple code.
