No account required. Safe by design FTAlert is receive-only. It listens on your local UDP port and, if you enable it, sends only the protocol's Reply packet back to your digital-mode app. There is no raw PTT, rig control, frequency, or free-text transmit path — your station stays in your hands. Get started in a minute 1. Launch FTAlert and point it at your UDP source (WSJT-X on 2233, MSHV on 2237). 2. Import your ADIF log. 3. Pick the alerts you care about. 4. • NEW: Map Window Live vector map with Maidenhead grid overlay, geodesic QSO arcs, and day/night grayline. Includes floating filters, callsign labels toggle, keep-on-top, and window position memory. Your own callsign is highlighted in red. • Smarter QSO Progression on the Map Follow the full exchange: CQ → TX reply → RX report → 73, up to 4 cards. TX messages are now shown, CQ context survives across decode periods, and answering stations are correctly detected — including MSHV transmissions started from the radio. TX cards show the DX grid when available and quote the message being answered. • NEW: Worked-Before Cutoff Date Settings → General → Worked status: optionally only count QSOs on or after a date toward B4 badges, dimming, and last-worked dates. Applies to log, ADIF import, and QRZ sync. Empty = all dates count, as before. • Easier UDP Setup Settings → Source now includes a multicast setup guide: MSHV two-port setup, WSJT-X multicast, and relay fallback for port conflicts.
