Meds in Hand

Your meds, in your own hands

Free · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.

Your medication list, schedule and history — private in your own iCloud. FDA-label safety info, interaction warnings, and an Apple Watch companion. No accounts, ever. Meds in Hand keeps your medications in your own hands: the list of what you take, when you take it, and what you've taken — private in your own iCloud, never on anyone's server. Log a whole time slot in one tap, get reminders that repeat until you've taken your meds without ever showing a medication name on your lock screen, and read what the FDA label actually says about every med you take. YOUR MEDICATION LIBRARY • Every medication you take, with dose, form, and schedule • Arrange the list in any order — Today, the take-meds sheet, exports, and the watch all follow it • Photograph prescriptions, bottles, and packaging so the details are always at hand • Import your existing medication list from Apple Health — one time, read-only A SCHEDULE THAT MATCHES YOUR DAY • Doses are scheduled by time of day: Morning, Midday, Evening, Bedtime • You decide when those are — change a dose time and every medication scheduled at it moves with it, on all your devices • The Today list groups doses under your times, and a Take Meds button logs everything due right now at once • Take, skip, or leave any dose for later — logged at "now" or an earlier time • Swipe away mistaken entries REMINDERS THAT RESPECT YOUR PRIVACY • A heads-up before each dose time, repeating until you've taken your meds, gathered into a single notification stack • You choose how early, how often, and how many times • Never a medication name on your lock screen • Take All or Skip right from the reminder, or tap it to open your doses already selected KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TAKING • A reading screen for each medication: what it's for, its typical dose, whether food matters, what to do about a missed dose, storage, and how it works • Every line quoted from the FDA label section it cites, with the full label a tap away • A link to each medication's MedlinePlus page • A text size control that remembers your choice INTERACTION WARNINGS • Medications with a high-priority interaction carry a "May interact with…" warning right on the list • Each medication's screen lists its interactions with everything else you take — and says so plainly when there are none • Tap an interaction to see what its severity means and the FDA label text describing the risk • A warning before you save a new medication that interacts with one you already take ON YOUR WRIST • A compact Apple Watch dashboard with one tile per dose time: Take Now in a tap, or pick meds, change the time, and skip • Catch up on a missed dose from the past week • Reminders on your wrist even when your iPhone is off or left behind • Logs reach your phone even when it's out of range • A Next Dose complication for your watch face YOUR HISTORY • A month-grouped log of what's been taken and when • The current month expanded into day rows; older months collapse into one-line summaries that expand in place • Open any day for its full event list FOR THE DOCTOR'S VISIT • Share your medication list as plain text or a one-page PDF PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your list, history, and photos sync across your devices through your own iCloud • No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no third-party servers — your medications stay yours • Built-in backup and restore so you never lose your history DATA SOURCES Medication names, label information, and safety data come from public sources: RxNorm, DailyMed, openFDA, and MedlinePlus, with high-priority interaction pairs from ONCHigh. Every safety line cites the FDA label section it quotes. Meds in Hand is not a medical device and doesn't give medical advice. Always talk to your doctor or pharmacist about your medications. Note: iCloud is required to store and sync your data.

Smarter reminders • Reminders now arrive a little early and repeat until you've taken your meds, gathered into a single notification stack instead of piling up. Choose how early, how often, and how many times in Settings ▸ Notifications. • Tap Take All or Skip right on a reminder to log every medication due at that time without opening the app. • Opening the dose sheet from a reminder now has that dose's meds already selected, and the sheet has a new Select All / Select None button. A new Apple Watch app • Opens to a compact dashboard with one tile per dose time: tap Take Now, or More… to pick meds, change the time, skip, or clear a mistaken log. • Catch up on a missed dose from the past week under Other Day…. • Your watch keeps its own copy of every reminder, so your wrist still reminds you when your iPhone is off or left behind. With both nearby, each reminder arrives only once. Also new • Tapping a day on the Consistency calendar shows that day's doses as cards, and a tapped card opens with the time set to when the dose was due. • Settings ▸ Diagnostics shows when your watch last synced and how many dose logs are waiting for iCloud.
