Scales of the Soul is a private Cheshbon Nefesh journal inspired by Mesilat Yesharim. Capture what went well and what needs repair, then return for a focused Daily Review and one realistic next step.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your journal is encrypted on your device before cloud sync.
• Journal text and spiritual patterns are never sent to analytics.
• You can use the app without an account. Sign-in is optional and supports encrypted sync.
• Optional recovery backup and biometric lock are controlled by you in Settings.
A GENTLE DAILY PRACTICE
• Record Good and Needs Repair moments without a score.
• Add context, middot, and blockers only when useful.
• Complete a short Daily Review and keep a small commitment visible.
• Browse your private journal in Hebrew, English, French, Russian, or Spanish.
SCALES PLUS
The core journal and complete Daily Review history remain free. Optional Scales Plus adds longer-range trends, comparisons, search, extra reminders, and PDF or Word export. Subscription prices are displayed by the App Store.
Scales of the Soul is a personal reflection tool. It does not provide religious rulings, mental-health treatment, medical advice, guaranteed outcomes, or a spiritual score.
