Apple Vision

Blast waves of aliens, UFOs and monsters to funk and western beats. Two blasters, 2-minute runs, four difficulties. For Apple Vision Pro with PS VR2 Sense controllers. BLAST TO THE BEAT. Gun Blade Blast is a spatial rhythm shooter built from the ground up for Apple Vision Pro. Strap in, grab a PlayStation VR2 Sense controller in each hand, and turn your room into a neon arena in deep space where every shot lands on the beat. TWO HANDS. TWO BLASTERS. ONE BEAT. Fire on the beat to score. Hit the target dead-center for bonus points. Keep the combo alive and watch your multiplier climb — miss the beat and it all comes crashing down. WAVES FROM EVERY DIRECTION Monsters, mechs, UFOs, aliens, and a very angry Cthulhu don't just come at you head-on. They flank, they swarm, they come from behind — turn, aim, fire. THEY BITE BACK Let an enemy reach you and it chews through your shield, then your health. Regen comes from playing well — shoot down incoming threats, survive to the next section — never a wall-clock timer. Four difficulty levels scale the pressure from a relaxed groove to an all-out assault. 11 TRACKS OF FUNK & WESTERN Funk Drive. High Noon. Breakbeat Blitz. The Gunfighter. Every level is generated fresh to the music, so no two runs play the same. Pick a track or hit Random and let the beat decide. A LIVING SPACE ARENA Fight among orbiting planets, the ISS, the Space Shuttle, and a roster of real NASA spacecraft models as they drift past. Full immersion, world-fixed HUD, no forced camera motion — designed for comfort during long sessions. GAME CENTER LEADERBOARDS Every difficulty has its own global leaderboard. Beat your personal best, then go beat everyone else's. REQUIREMENTS • Apple Vision Pro running visionOS 26 or later • Two Sony PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers — shown as "Spatial Controller" when pairing in Settings → Accessories (the game is played with controller aim; hand tracking is not supported yet) • Room to swing your arms. Stand or sit; you never need to walk. VERSION 0.9 This is an early-access release. Balance, difficulty and content are still being tuned — your scores and feedback shape what 1.0 becomes. Version 1.0 is here: the first big update since launch. New enemies, clearer feedback, a safer playspace and a tougher challenge on the higher difficulties. NEW • Playspace boundary: wander too far from your starting spot and an orange warning sphere fades in. Stay outside for 3 seconds and the run pauses and your blasters switch off. Step back inside and a "Ready... Go!" cue restarts the action. • Digital Crown: press the Digital Crown mid-run and come back later, and your run continues exactly where you left it, with the same song position, the same enemies and the same score, after a short "Ready... Go!" hold. • 56 new creatures join the waves, bringing the monster roster to 77 species. • Spatial enemy audio: monster growls, bites and defeats, plus UFO sounds, now come from where the enemy actually is, so you can hear a threat before you see it. • New results screen: accuracy, longest combo, hits taken and pickups, a "NEW BEST!" moment the instant you pass your personal best, and a plus/minus score comparison against your previous best. • The announcer now uses recorded voice clips only, including combo and bomb call-outs. The computer-generated speech is gone. • Clearer feedback: the screen flash is cyan when your shield absorbs a hit and red when you lose health, a cyan pop-up such as "Absorbed!" shows when a hit is ignored during your short post-hit protection, and on Medium and up your ammo counter turns amber when you run low and reads RELOAD when empty. TOUGHER • Medium, Difficult and Expert have denser waves with more UFOs, concealed sentries and asteroid throwers. • On Difficult and Expert, enemies in the lanes right beside you can now bite too. UFO zaps and sentry ambushes strike the moment they arrive on Difficult and Expert, and sooner on Medium. FIXED • A centered enemy that had started its attack could get stuck and become impossible to hit. That is fixed. • Robots with several colored shields: each correctly colored hit now removes exactly one shield layer. • Song looping and timing: waves now stay in step with the music after a song restarts or a new run starts. • Obstacle slaloms have wider lanes and more breathing room between obstacles. • Dozens of smaller bug fixes and stability improvements.
