1.4.25: - New: SETUP > MIDI CONTROL has a PAGE NAVIGATION section. PREVIOUS PAGE and NEXT PAGE can be learned directly: press LEARN, then press a key or pad on your controller (CC or NOTE). REMOVE clears the binding. - Fixed: Button-type PERFORM controls bound to a hardware key now react on the first press, including a soft press on a pad. - New: VISUAL page has a VISUAL: ON / OFF switch at the top left of the preview. OFF stops the visual engine, camera and video. The previews and the external display go black. The setting is remembered. - Changed: The visual engine runs at a fixed 30 fps. - New: The on-screen keyboard also sends pitch and envelope to CV OUT. - New: SETUP > AUDIO has a BUFFER setting (AUTO / 256 / 512 / 1024 / 2048) with an ACTUAL readout of the buffer size in use. - Changed: The audio log now records the actual buffer length.

1.4.24: - New: SYNC LOOP play mode for sample tracks. The sample loop follows BPM changes without changing pitch (beat-slice re-trigger, like a clip mode). Set the loop length in beats. The beat count is estimated automatically when you load or record a sample. - New: MULTI pads can follow the tempo too (SYNC column with beat count on the VOICE page). - New: Sample MAGAZINE. 8 slots per track hold samples ready to switch during a performance. Switching is instant when the sample is already loaded. PREVIOUS / NEXT SAMPLE and MAGAZINE 1 - 8 can be assigned to PERFORM, MIDI and the keyboard. - New: PERFORM page VOICE tab for SAMPLE tracks shows the file name, LOAD SAMPLE, the play mode (ONE SHOT / LOOP / SYNC LOOP) and the magazine. - New: Lane MUTE for drum tracks. Each lane in the drum editor has a MUTE button. It can be assigned to PERFORM, MIDI and the keyboard. Only the internal sound is muted, MIDI and CV output are not affected. - Changed: Loading a sample while a segment already remembers a sample now updates that segment, so what you see is what you hear. - Changed: Sample loading and recording finish in the background. The sequencer keeps running while a sample is loaded. - Changed: When a sample is switched, the sound already playing finishes on the old sample. The new sample starts at the next trigger.

1.4.23: - Changed: MAIN page, the left and right keys of the segment row now load the previous / next saved Program on the current track (they used to switch project slots). Empty Programs are skipped. The keys now show double arrows. - New: PREVIOUS PROGRAM / NEXT PROGRAM can be assigned to PERFORM, MIDI, CV and the keyboard. - Changed: MAIN page, the numbers on segment keys 1 - 8 and on the track keys are larger. Segment numbers are vertically centered.

GLIDE TIME is set with three faders, HOURS / MINUTES / SECONDS, up to 24 hours; tap a fader to type a value. RANDOM can be assigned by MIDI Learn and triggered from the PERFORM page. Fixed: saved DRUM KITs were not listed under LOAD in a new project until another kit was saved. External MIDI clock: HONKI now follows the incoming clock by adjusting its playback rate instead of rewriting the project BPM. The project tempo is no longer changed or saved while following. Start/Stop/Continue are accepted from any MIDI device by default; a TRANSPORT option in SETTING can restrict them to the clock source. Transport messages are handled in the order received. Repeater SYNC now also locks to the beat on CV outputs and the PERFORM page. Trigger anchors no longer reset when modulation routes are removed and re-added. External input routing is kept across CLEAR ALL, bank import and undo. Recording: gaps during audio engine restarts, foreground return and media reset are filled correctly; a stopped recording is truly stopped; a failed external input file now stops the recording with a notice.

Fix: added safeguards against the app terminating due to external input when the audio interface connection or sample rate changes. Recording: fixed parts of the audio going missing in long recordings. Camera: a camera stopped by an interruption or error now reconnects automatically. Reselecting the same camera or pressing CAMERA again also restarts it. Visual page: the status row shows camera, video and photo loading status (CAMERA NO FRAMES, VIDEO FAILED, etc.). Tap the red camera status to reconnect. Visual page: parameters, module order and ON/OFF, FLIP, rotation and the selected camera are kept after relaunch. Visual page: RANDOM also switches the MESH built-in model. GLIDE TIME shows seconds. Visual page: reduced processing load while moving faders. Fix: switching a track VOICE from AU to SAMPLE and then enabling MULTI could terminate the app. Leaving SAMPLE now reliably stops any sampler voices still held by that track. DRUM KIT: save and load the MULTI setup (samples and pad settings) of drum tracks 5-8 as a kit, from the DRUM KIT button next to SAVE on the SAMPLER page. Visual page: MIX and LEVEL faders can be set in one horizontal finger sweep. Visual page: added rotate-left / rotate-right buttons to the SOURCE row; the resolution readout was removed.

ENV now runs even when a track has no sound source (SAMPLER with no sample loaded, PHYSICS with external input on, AU with no instrument loaded). As long as notes are triggered, ENV can be used as a modulation source. Note: on SAMPLER, PHYSICS and AU tracks, setting DECAY to maximum bypasses the envelope, so ENV outputs nothing (on SYNTH tracks ENV still runs at maximum DECAY).

1.3.8 changes: - Added a TRI button in the left column of the editor. When it is on, the width of two cells is divided into three so you can enter triplets; the notes that were already there stay in place. Tracks 1-4 switch per track, tracks 5-8 switch together. Triplets are not affected by SWING. The overview row on the MAIN page shows a triplet marker. - The GRID on the right shows two bars at once in full screen. - Long notes can now extend across the bar line into the next bar, up to one bar long. The next page shows the continued part. - Tracks 1-4 editor: the highest and lowest note are now one RANGE button that opens a window. - Tracks 5-8 editor: the four ratio buttons are now one RATIO button that opens a window where each of the four tracks is set. - SETUP: added VIDEO RECORDING. While recording audio you can also record video of the app screen and of the VISUAL output. The files are saved in the same folder as the audio and start and stop with the recording. 1.3.7 changes: - FX CHAIN: three effects, GRANULAR / KARPLUS / GLITCH. GLITCH is new. The three can be chained in series, the order can be rearranged freely, and each has its own Dry/Wet. - MIXER: the TEXTURE knob on each track is now named FX CHAIN. - Added a MOD button. Long-pressing a control no longer opens the MOD ROUTE panel; turn MOD on, then tap a control. - MOTION button: tap to turn MOTION playback on or off. Yellow while on, no color while off. While off you can set values by hand; turning it back on returns to the same MOTION. - MOTION button: hold to start MOTION recording. The button turns red from left to right while holding and stays red while recording. Tap while recording to stop; it returns to yellow. - Modulation no longer stops while you are moving a knob or fader. - The LEARN button is now named MIDI. - PERFORM: added a four-way PAD (TWO AXIS / FOUR WAY switch). - Fixed crackling on the external input when moving EQ or knobs. 1.3.6 changes: - MIXER: PAN now supports MOTION REC and MIDI LEARN, and SEQ / LFO 1-6 can be assigned to it in MOD ROUTE. 1.3.5 changes: - LIVE: the overview on the left is now display plus RANGE handles only. The RANGE handles can move across bars (bars are added in the editor on the right). - Segment editor: the button row at the bottom left is now a dropdown. In addition to VELOCITY / PROBABILITY / PITCH PROBABILITY you can edit DECAY / RATCHET / RATCHET COUNT / RATCHET COUNT PROBABILITY per note. - RATCHET COUNT PROBABILITY: when a RATCHET fires, the repeat count is picked at random from the values up to the COUNT you set. - Drum tracks: the count is shown while dragging RATCHET COUNT. - DECAY / RATCHET on locked notes are no longer overwritten by TURING MACHINE and GENERATE. - Fixed PROBABILITY and similar values being written to the wrong step from the second bar onward.

- MOD ROUTE sources now include ENV 1-8: each track's DECAY envelope can be used as a modulation source. - UTILITY: the DRAW button sits in the top-left corner of the SEQUENCER panel. While on, you can draw directly on the curve area and on the three LFO pads. A drawn LFO shows S&H / T&H with a step count on the top row and RESET on the bottom row. - MIXER: per-track BUS selection (MASTER / A1 / A2 / A3). - VOICE SYNTH: the oscillator itself now plays the loaded wavetable (previously a sine carrier with the wavetable as modulator only); the leftmost POSITION is a pure sine. The POSITION knob sits next to the waveform display and follows modulation in real time. New frame-size selection (256 to 4096). - MOD ROUTE targets show their source as a single character (m = MOTION, s = SEQ, 1-6 = LFO 1-6).

- Segment length extended from 16 to 64 bars. The bar label row scrolls 8 bars at a time; the fullscreen editor shows all 64. - LFO count raised from 3 to 6. The UTILITY LFO panel switches between 1|4, 2|5 and 3|6. SPEED is a horizontal fader with SYNC / UNI below it, and the X-Y pad fills the panel height. - UTILITY OUTPUT: seven vertical bipolar faders (LFO1-6 and SEQ) set the output mix. Output channel selection moved to SETUP (MOD OUTPUT). - MIXER: SIDECHAIN moved into the EQ popover. A per-track FILTER bar (LPF / OFF / HPF) takes its place. MASTER FILTER knob added to the EFFECT row. - Track FILTER x8 and MASTER FILTER are MIDI-learnable and PERFORM-controllable.

- SAMPLER MULTI: per-pad LEVEL / PITCH / FILTER / RESO / PAN, LAUNCH mode, CHOKE group and start / end points. Pads are now polyphonic. - SAMPLER MULTI is available on tracks 1-4. - PERFORM fader: HORIZONTAL orientation and SPRING return on release (OFF / MIN / CENTER / MAX). - PERFORM XY pad: SPRING per axis. - TEXTURE send/return: a grain stage in front of Clouds sharing the existing knobs. TEXTURE also drives chaos amount, SPREAD chaos rate, FREEZE holds the grain buffer.
