This one is mostly for people just arriving. Setup has new pictures, one for each of the fourteen topics you can choose from, and the opening headline now reads properly in all thirteen languages. If you've been here a while, nothing moves: your feed, saved verses and reading plan are where you left them.

Setup is new. It asks one question instead of eight, shows you the app before asking for anything, and builds your first week of Scripture while you watch — seven days, one verse a morning, under two minutes each. Leave halfway through and you come back where you stopped, not at the beginning. The subscription screen is plainer too: the price sits next to the button, and a way out is always on screen.

What's new in 1.1 • Lampstone speaks your language. The app is now available in German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Arabic, Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian. Verses stay in the King James and World English Bible translations. • Keep today's verse in view. A new step-by-step guide shows how to add the Lampstone widget to your Lock Screen or Home Screen. • Easier to read. Text now follows the text size you set on your iPhone. • A clearer start, a cleaner tab bar and many small fixes across the app.
