Quitting: Hold ⌘Q to quit FloShot. A quick press shows a reminder to help prevent accidental interruptions. The Quit menu command still works directly.

FloShot now prepares it in the background shortly after launch and once the screenshot overlay appears, so Extract Text and Translate hit a ready model; if you click before it finishes, it waits for it instead of cutting it off. 2. Screenshot annotations: Notes and steps now have their own font size. Drag a corner to scale the box together with its text, or drag an edge to adjust the text box height. Step numbers, connector lines, and bubbles follow the text, and what you see while editing matches the export. 3. Screenshot and recording prep: Frames for multi-display selections are now prepared in the background with less blocking of the interface, and you can cancel while they are being prepared. Starting a selection repeats less setup, cleanup after a screenshot is tidier, and annotation history and sticker caches are released under memory pressure, with no change to image quality.

Common tools are easier to reach; canvas and advanced tools now default to More Tools. Hover to open the shape picker. More compact tips, fewer duplicate recording-button hints, and additional localized tool and settings text refine the interface.
