Send a fax from your phone or iPad. Pay per fax: no subscription, no account, no fax machine. Sends to the US, Canada and supported countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Oceania.
WHAT CLEARFAX IS
ClearFax is a pay-per-fax app for sending faxes from your phone or iPad.
There is no subscription. You pay once for each fax you send.
No account, no sign-up, no login.
You see the price before you pay.
The price depends on the number of pages, not on the destination country.
Each fax can have up to 50 pages, plus a cover page.
The cover page is included and never billed.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Scan pages with the camera, or import PDFs and images from Files.
2. Reorder or remove pages.
3. Enter the fax number, or pick it from Contacts. ClearFax checks the number before you pay.
4. Check the pages and the price, then send.
5. Follow the fax network's status as it sends. A receipt lands in your history when it goes through.
WHAT PEOPLE SEND WITH IT
• IRS forms, such as Form SS-4 to apply for an EIN
• Medical records and forms for a doctor's office or pharmacy
• Insurance claims and paperwork
• Court and government forms
• Signed contracts, applications and HR paperwork
• Documents for offices abroad, such as in Germany, Japan or the UK
Whether an office accepts a faxed document is up to that office.
IF A FAX FAILS
If the fax network reports a failed or partial send, your purchase is not used up.
Every purchase includes at least two attempts. The app shows the exact number before you pay.
You can fix the fax number and resend.
A resend uses the same pages you paid for.
If every attempt fails, the purchase ends and the app shows your job ID.
THE RECEIPT
Every fax that goes through gets a receipt PDF: destination, page count, when it was sent and completed, the fax network's result, and a support code.
Share it, print it, or file it.

Europe: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Estonia, Faroe Islands, France (including French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Réunion), Germany, Gibraltar, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
Asia and Oceania: Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Türkiye
ClearFax can't send to some number ranges within these countries. The app tells you before you pay.
THE APP
Works on phones and iPad.
Light and dark mode.
In English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Korean, following your device language.
Faxes are sent in black and white.
ClearFax only sends faxes. It does not receive faxes and does not give you a fax number.
PRIVACY
Your pages are deleted from our server once the fax reaches a final status.
Our fax provider holds a copy until it expires on their own schedule.
No ads.
We use limited product analytics as described in our Privacy Policy.
GOOD TO KNOW
A successful send means the fax network reported the transmission complete, not that a person read or accepted it.
