Fixes for Talus on Apple Watch.

A gentler first launch. Talus now opens straight onto Today, with a short getting-started card on top: a small river shows a thought dropping in, one note being kept, and an older one settling into the archive. Swipe it away or tap Begin, and the welcome notes are waiting in the river.

Talus now works with VoiceOver, Voice Control and the largest text sizes on every screen. Faint text and the amber accent are adjusted so that all text reaches at least 4.5:1 contrast in every light, by day and by night. At the accessibility text sizes, titles and controls stack instead of cutting words short, settings rows wrap, and sheets open full height. Every swipe and long press is also available as a VoiceOver action, and with Reduce Motion on, moving animations become fades. Search now shows the words around each match.

Talus has a new look, called Strata. Today is the surface of the river, with your kept notes above it, and older days settle into bands below the settle line. Notes are set in Newsreader and the controls in IBM Plex Mono. Four lights replace the old themes, and Follow the sun tints the top edge by the hour of the day. Capture, the editor, Focus, Dig, the evening digest, the Archive, Settings, iPad, Mac, iPhone Duo, Apple Watch, complications and widgets all use the new look.

Talus is made for iPhone Duo. Closed, the toolbar and Drop move into a column at the side of the outer display, so the river gets more room; turned on its side, notes flow into two columns. Open, the river sits on one page and the note on the other, split on the fold, and search shows its results on the left with the note on the right. Open it upright and related notes sit in a margin beside the text, every Markdown command is on the keyboard bar, and you can pin one note above the river while you work below it. Half folded like a laptop, the text stays above the fold and the keys below, and Settling soon becomes one note at a time with large Keep and Let it settle buttons. Standing on its outer display, capture listens for your words and for "drop", "keep" or "cancel". Show puts a note full screen, read only, for the person across the table. A new Settling today widget counts the notes that move to the Archive tonight. Nothing is deleted.

Talus is now on your wrist. - Drop a note by voice straight from the watch, with a haptic when it lands. - Read the river for today on the watch, open any note, and keep it or let it settle. - Search everything from the wrist, archive included. - Hand any note back to iPhone to keep writing. - A complication puts capture one tap from the watch face, and shows the note closest to settling. - Recently Deleted on the watch, with the days each note has left.

Eight themes added. Paste an image straight into a note. Tables, fenced code blocks, strikethrough, footnotes and dividers. Live preview hides the Markdown on every line except the one you are writing on. The privacy lock now holds when Talus reopens, and names whatever your device actually uses. The weekly digest tells you when it is next due, and says so when notifications are switched off.

Bug fixes, overall improvements, proper line wrapping when typing out long notes.

Talus now opens with four short notes on a first launch. They show how notes settle, how Keep works, how to write and read Markdown, and how ambient links connect notes that mention the same thing. They are ordinary notes: keep them, let them settle, or delete them. Choose Restore from iCloud during onboarding and they are not added.

On This Day quietly brings back notes you wrote on this date in earlier years, without asking you to go looking for them. Related notes now sit behind a link count in the status bar and open in a sheet, so they no longer push the writing area up the screen while you type, and Talus finds them in the background so that long notes stay responsive. Writing and reading Markdown is more reliable. Bold text keeps the correct heading size, whole-line formatting no longer breaks Markdown, and links highlight correctly while you edit. Pasted text arrives as clean text, without the fonts, colours, or styling it came with.

Import notes from Markdown, plain text, Evernote exports, and folders. Talus preserves original creation dates, turns folder and notebook structure into tags, and keeps imported notes together in a dedicated Imports section.

Writing and reading Markdown is now more reliable across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Bold text keeps the correct heading size, whole-line formatting no longer breaks Markdown, and links highlight correctly while editing. Pasted text now arrives cleanly without source fonts, colours, or rich-text styling. The Mac writing area also keeps a stable, comfortable left margin in wide windows.

Fixes color rendering and text visibility on macOS, and adds swipe actions across iPhone, iPad, and Mac to keep, archive, restore, and delete notes.

Settings now links directly to the Privacy Policy and Support page, and includes a control to erase all Talus data from this device. On Mac, editing a note that changed on another device shows a banner to keep both versions or use the other device's version. Saving now tells you if a note failed to save, so nothing is lost silently, and exporting notes no longer clears other files already in your chosen folder.
