Voice Drill uses bundled prerecorded prompts when available, with Apple's on-device speech synthesizer as a fallback, and can recognize short spoken answer choices on device. Microphone and speech access are requested only when you start that feature. CarPlay provides a minimal control to start Voice Drill and displays talking or listening status; it does not display a full quiz or mock exam.
