A small Markdown editor. One window, no sidebar, no account. Your files stay plain text and stay yours. Lezin Lite is TextEdit for Markdown: one window, one screen, and nothing in the way. Markdown You Can Read While You Write It — Headings grow, bold reads bold, italic slants, code tints, and the syntax markers themselves fade back. The file on disk stays exactly the plain text you typed. Text and Preview — Write the source, or read it rendered. Switch with a keystroke. Rendering happens on your Mac using bundled resources. Everything Happens On Your Mac — Your documents are never sent anywhere. Markdown is rendered locally from resources inside the app. There is no account, no sync service, no telemetry, and no analytics. Temporary Documents — Open a scratchpad that quietly deletes itself once you have stopped typing in it. A countdown in the corner shows how long is left, and one click keeps it for good. The last few that vanished stay recoverable for a while. A Menu Bar That Does the Boring Part — See every open document at a glance, jump to one, minimize them all, or close the saved ones and leave anything unfinished alone. Standard Mac Documents — Autosave, Versions, Duplicate, Rename, Move To, Revert, Open Recent and iCloud Drive all work, because Lezin Lite uses the same document system every Mac app does. Formatting Where You Expect It — Bold, italic, code, headings, lists and quotes from the Format menu, from keyboard shortcuts, or from a small bar that appears under your selection. Print and Export as PDF — Export the rendered document, not the markup. Need More? — Lezin, the full app, adds Git integration, AI text actions, themes, custom preview CSS, image handling and richer PDF export. Lezin Lite hands the current document over to it in one menu item, if you have it.

Lezin Lite 1.1 lets you decide how long a temporary document lasts, and gives the editor real list handling. - Right-click or press and hold the corner timer to set the document's lifetime: 15 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day, or 3 days. It applies to that document, not to the default in Settings - Choosing a lifetime restarts the clock, so "1 day" means a day from now - Tab starts a bulleted list and indents the item you are in; Shift-Tab starts a numbered list and steps back out - Return carries a list on to the next item — the next number for an ordered list, a fresh box for a task list — and ends the list on an empty one - Inside a fenced code block, Tab still inserts a tab - The title bar shares the window's material, so the window reads as one surface - The About panel links to Lezin and to hakobs, and tells you when a newer version is on the App Store
