Screen record a video call on iPhone and the sound is gone, because iOS leaves the call audio out. FaceCast runs the call itself, so it records both of you, picture and sound, in full quality. Use it for a remote podcast, interviews, or a call with a loved one that you'd like to save for your memories.
TWO CITIES, ONE STUDIO
Host on your iPhone or iPad and send your guest a code. They join from their own iPhone or iPad, or from a browser link with nothing to install. You could be in Madrid and they could be in Sydney, and the recording still sounds like you shared a room.
- Your side is recorded straight from your camera and microphone, never from the network
- When your guest is on iPhone or iPad, their voice is sent over at full quality too, usually before you hang up
- Every voice lands on its own track, on one shared clock, so nothing needs syncing
- Put headphones on and FaceCast switches off echo cancellation to record your raw microphone. That is the difference between call quality and something you would publish

PICK YOUR MICROPHONE, AND HEAR IT FIRST
Connecting AirPods does not always make them the microphone iOS records from. Tap the input to choose AirPods, a wired mic or the built-in mic, then record five seconds and play it back before you start.
EDIT IT, SHARE IT
- Picture in picture, just as the call looked, or side by side, or stacked
- Put host and guest on separate lanes and cut between them
- Trim, split and cut without ever touching the original recording
- Add video, photos and music from your library or Files, with volume per clip and per lane
- 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9, exported at 1080p or 4K
- Solo takes too: record yourself with a live level meter and a storage estimate
CAPTIONS THAT KEEP UP
Automatic captions with eight presets across four typefaces: word by word build-on, one word at a time, a karaoke highlight, or a quiet broadcast lower third. Adjust the typeface, size, colour, outline, case, line length and position. Titles come in type made for social, styled with a tap.
IT STAYS YOURS
Recordings are saved on your device. Picture and sound are encrypted between you and your guest and are never stored on a server. No cloud library, no upload, and no account needed to record.
When it is ready, save it to Photos or Files, or send it straight to Instagram, TikTok or YouTube.
Best with iPhone or iPad on both ends. Guests can also join from a browser.
