RentalVault is a local-first organizer for car, SUV, truck, van, and RV rentals. Use it before pickup, during the trip, and after return to keep the details you may need later, without creating an account.
ADD A RENTAL YOUR WAY
- Import a printed reservation, PDF, image, screenshot, text file, or pasted text.
- Review on-device text-recognition suggestions before anything is applied.
- Use Quick Entry for essentials, or a guided detailed flow for trip, price, protection, reminders, and documents.
- Save a draft without knowing the assigned vehicle.
DOCUMENT PICKUP AND RETURN
- Follow guided pickup and return inspections.
- Record the assigned vehicle, plate, VIN, odometer, fuel level or EV charge, key count, dashboard warnings, and condition.
- Capture suggested exterior angles, interior details, receipts, return-lane or key-drop proof, and skipped steps.
- Place damage markers, add notes and severity, and keep annotated copies separate from originals.
- Add incidents, correspondence, notes, changes, receipts, and documents to the timeline.
REVIEW CHARGES
- Compare the reservation estimate with the final total.
- Organize taxes, fees, fuel, charging, tolls, parking, extras, extensions, refunds, and disputed amounts.
- Track a deposit or temporary card hold using only a card nickname and last four digits.
- See follow-up prompts for unresolved holds and unexpected charges.
FIND AND EXPORT
- Search and filter past rentals by status, year, purpose, company, date, and cost.
- Review on-device insights for rental days, spending, companies, pending holds, and open disputes.
- Build, preview, and share PDF reports with timeline details, evidence identifiers, timestamps, and available SHA-256 hashes.
- Export expense CSVs or create a passphrase-encrypted portable archive containing records and evidence.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- Core features work offline and require no RentalVault account.
- Rental records and evidence stay in protected on-device storage by default.
- Optional Face ID or Touch ID app lock and privacy cover.
- Camera, photo, microphone, location, notification, and biometric permissions are requested only when you use related features.
- Approximate capture location is off by default.
- Optional iCloud backup is a manual, passphrase-encrypted snapshot in your private iCloud database; it is not continuous sync.
- No ads, subscriptions, or third-party analytics.
RentalVault organizes personal records. It does not certify evidence or guarantee acceptance by a rental company, insurer, card issuer, or court. Always check your agreement and provider policies.
