Until now RefMate opened, showed you three screens about what it does, and left you to find the rest on your own. Plenty of referees never did. So this version finishes the introduction properly: at the end of the tour you now see exactly what PRO adds — the PDF report, unlimited history, your season in numbers, the Apple Watch app, the full Laws bank, iCloud sync — with the price straight from the App Store and a plain "Continue free" button right underneath it. Take it or leave it; nothing behind that screen is locked either way, and the free app is the same free app it was yesterday. We also stopped the offer after your first finished match from being the only one you would ever get: it now comes back once after your fourth match and once after your tenth, and then never again. And in the Laws module, the note telling you that you are practising with 20 of the questions now says so where you can actually see it, with the real numbers, instead of hiding below seventeen rows of law tiles. The watch and the phone now hand the match over to each other. • Start a half on your Apple Watch, open the app on your phone, and the clock is already running at the right minute — with the score, the cards and everything you registered. It works the same way round. • Added time and stoppages carry across with it, so both devices agree on how long the half has really been. • A watch that has been asleep can no longer overwrite the live clock with an older reading when it catches up.

Answers in the Laws quiz are no longer always in the same order: they are shuffled every session, so the correct one can be anywhere and you end up learning the Law rather than the position. When you finish a set — and especially a mock exam — there is a new review screen with everything you got wrong: the answer you chose, the correct one, why, and the official IFAB text it comes from. Until now a mock exam gave you a score and very little else. We have also fixed an untranslated label in the appearance settings, and iCloud sync now explains what it does instead of sitting there greyed out. Thanks for refereeing with RefMate.
