The Website link in Settings now goes to a page for DocFind users: help by WhatsApp or email, a plain summary of how your data is handled, a short demo video, and quick links to review or share the app.

SEARCH IN CHOSEN DOCUMENTS • Tap "All documents" under the search field to pick which documents a search covers. The results say how many documents were searched, so a narrower search is never silent. • A document whose file name contains your words is listed under "Name matches", even when none of its pages do. • The library list now has a filter box, so a long list narrows as you type a name. A MENU ON EVERY DOCUMENT • Tap the "…" on any document, or hold it: a scan offers Search it, Share, Rename, Edit pages, Add pages, Show in Files and Delete Scan; an imported PDF offers Search it, Share and Remove from DocFind. • In the reader, Share offers the whole file, the page on screen, or that page with its highlights. • Everything stays on your device, as before.

AUTO CAPTURE IN THE SCANNER • Choose Auto beside the shutter, lay a page under the camera and hold your iPhone still. DocFind takes the page once it lies flat and still, then waits while you turn to the next page and takes that one too — one shot per page, no tapping. • Manual is still there: tap the shutter yourself whenever you prefer. • Everything stays on your device, as before.

SCAN PAPER, THEN SEARCH IT • Tap Scan Document at the top of your library or in the + menu, and take each page with your camera. DocFind saves the pages as one PDF and reads the text on your device, so the scan becomes searchable in DocFind and in other PDF apps. • Check each page before you save: adjust its corners, turn it, choose Original, Enhanced, Grey or B&W, retake it or delete it. DocFind tells you when a page looks blurry. • Scans are kept in Files under DocFind › Scans. Camera scans don't use your monthly OCR pages. • New on first launch: a short introduction to what DocFind does.

• On iPad, a two-column layout: the results in a sidebar, the matching page open beside them, in portrait and landscape. • A Home button at the top left brings you back to your library from anywhere. • The first screen now says it plainly: DocFind works offline, even in airplane mode, and never uploads your documents.

A SHORTER ROUTE TO TELLING US WHAT YOU THINK • A Rate DocFind row in Settings, under Help & Support. • Feedback now reaches support@docfindapp.com, a real support address rather than a personal mailbox. • A Website row in Settings, under About, and a More Apps section listing our other apps. These pages, the privacy policy and the licence agreement open inside DocFind instead of sending you out to Safari. • After you open your second search result, a card asks once what DocFind should do better. It opens a mail in your own mail app; nothing is sent on its own. How DocFind works has not changed: searching, indexing, reading scanned pages and export all happen on your device, with no account, no cloud and no ads. The only web content it shows is its own website and privacy policy, and Apple's standard licence agreement, in Apple's Safari sheet, which the app cannot read.

YOUR FREE ALLOWANCE NOW REFRESHES EVERY MONTH Both of the free tier's allowances used to be one-off: spend them and they were gone for the life of the install. They are monthly now. • 10 pages of on-device OCR every month — enough to take a short scanned document from cover to cover, and enough again next month. • 10 exports every month, in any of the four formats. • Every screen that names a budget now says which month it is counting and the date the next one starts, so nothing runs out without warning. Unchanged: one library of up to 25 documents, unlimited searches, unlimited search terms, and every result shown. And everything still happens on your device — no account, no cloud, no ads, and no network capability in the app at all.

Advanced understands AND, OR, NOT, NEAR and wildcards; Regular expression is there for the searches nothing else can express. Both are part of Pro. FIND YOUR DOCUMENTS FROM ANYWHERE • Your indexed documents can appear in Spotlight, so a half-remembered phrase typed on the Home Screen opens the right file. Off by default, Pro only, and switching it off removes them again. • Siri can search your documents out loud, and Shortcuts can run the same search inside any automation you build. The search itself still happens entirely on this phone. CLEARER RESULTS • A snippet now highlights every term that matched it, not just the first. • A snippet says how many matches it holds, so a page full of hits reads as one result instead of a wall of near-identical ones. • Searching part of a word now reports the whole word that was found. • The Reader keeps finding matches past the first fifty on a long document. • CSV exports record which matches came from OCR, which Markdown and the PDF report already did. OCR THAT FINISHES WITHOUT YOU WATCHING • Pro can work through the OCR backlog in the background while the phone is charging.
