Hiken

TOTP Credential Organizer

Free · In‑App Purchases

Codes where you sign in, Face ID or Touch ID to fill. Folders, environments, and Quick Views for too many codes. iPhone, iPad, Mac. Imports from Google Authenticator. Hiken is a two-factor authentication app for people who carry too many codes: several clients, several AWS, GitHub, and Google accounts, and production, staging, and development for each. It generates standard TOTP codes and organizes them so the one you need now is a tap away. ▶ ORGANIZE WITH CONTEXT • Folders group credentials by client or project • Environments mark each credential PROD, STAG, DEV, or TEST with a text badge, so production is never a guess. Rename, recolor, or add your own • Tags cut across folders • Quick Views are saved queries ("AWS production only", "just this client", "favorites") or a pinned folder, tag, or environment - one tap each ▶ FIND IT FAST, TAP ONCE • Search across service, account, folder, and tag, combined with the selected Quick View • One-tap copy, with a clipboard that clears itself after 30 or 60 seconds • Sort by name, or by how recently or how often you use each credential ▶ IPHONE, IPAD, AND MAC • On the Mac, a menu bar item gives you a code without opening the main window • Optional sync via your own iCloud, encrypted on your device first. Each device needs iCloud Keychain on • Add credentials from a QR code (camera on iPhone/iPad, screenshot on Mac) or the setup key ▶ PART OF THE FLOW • Select a sign-in's code field and Hiken's suggestion appears - above the keyboard on iPhone and iPad, beneath the field in Safari on the Mac. Confirm with Face ID or Touch ID and it fills in (iOS 18 / macOS 15 or later; Apple's keyboard) • On iPhone and iPad, for any other field, hold down and choose AutoFill › Passwords › Hiken • Every code is behind device authentication. The extension holds no copy of your secrets ▶ MOVE IN, MOVE OUT [Google Authenticator] • Import its export QR codes on iPhone or iPad [Plain text CSV] • Import the CSV other apps export • Export your credentials as CSV [CXF (Credential Exchange Format) / CXP (Credential Exchange Protocol)] Import from apps that support credential exchange on iOS 26 / macOS 26 or later, such as the Passwords app: choose "Export Data to Another App" and pick Hiken. Only the verification codes come across, on the device, with no file. Export from Hiken is in preparation: in our tests, password managers did not yet take in an item holding a code alone. ▶ BACKUP AND RECOVERY • Recovery backup: one encrypted file (.hkvault) holding every credential and its organization • Recovery Sheet: the same encrypted backup, printed as QR codes. The Recovery Key is never printed on it • Restore points: saved before important changes, so a mistake can be undone • Offline: with iCloud sync off, a move between devices can be done entirely offline ▶ PRIVACY AND SECURITY • Hiken starts locked. Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode unlocks it • A privacy shield hides codes in the App Switcher • TOTP secrets are stored in the device Keychain • No Hiken server holds your credentials, and no master key could restore them • Your Recovery Key is yours alone. Without it, no one, Hiken's developer included, can restore a backup • No ads, no tracking, no analytics ▶ HIKEN FREE AND HIKEN PRO Hiken Free includes every feature, for up to 5 credentials. The count is the only limit: iCloud sync, Quick Views, the Mac, import and export, and recovery are all in Free. Hiken Pro removes the credential limit. If Hiken Pro ends with more than 5 credentials stored, nothing is deleted. The 5 most recently used keep generating codes; the rest stay stored, viewable, exportable, and deletable. Hiken Pro is an annual auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
