What's new in 1.0.21 • RACKETID now speaks Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese, Thai and Simplified Chinese, alongside English and Arabic. Pick a language in Profile, or from the sign-in screen. • Tournaments: before you enter, the app shows the category and game type and asks you to confirm, so nobody lands in the wrong draw. • "Your entries" now sits above the categories, with each entry's status. Tap one to jump to that category. • Entry lists lead with the club, then the two players. • Signing in by code: the code field takes the cursor as soon as the code is sent. • Fixed: if you sign out somewhere else, the app now takes you back to sign-in instead of carrying on half signed in.

• Take a photo of a game on court: one picture per game, straight from the court card. • Clubs: a club's owner and admins can now choose a session's queue masters, and run the queue themselves with "Run the queue myself". • Court Queue: new queues start on SMW-Buckets-Mix, and "Plan the next game" now plans one game per tap, so each pick draws on the freshest pool of players. The finish button now reads "Game finished". • Money is shown in each currency's own format — "360 SAR", "1.500 KWD", "1,500 JPY" — and a new session starts in your home city's currency. • Fixed: pages no longer slide sideways when scrolling on iOS 26. • A cleaner look: choices are outlined chips, so they no longer look like buttons.

• Team events: when an organiser picks you for a team, accept the invitation right in the app. Then follow the tie as it is played — the score in rubbers, both teams, and every rubber with its players and result. • Round-robin tournaments: a small game can now be played as a round robin, where everyone plays everyone. You see the table and every fixture instead of a bracket. • Open Doubles and Open Singles: tournaments can now run games that anyone can enter, with no gender asked. • Messages: press and hold a message to react to it with one of six emoji.

What's new in 1.0.18 • Tournament surveys: when a tournament asks its players a few questions, you can answer them right in the app. Each answer is saved as you go, so nothing is lost if you close the app. • Your official tournament picture: if a tournament asks for one, it becomes your picture across that tournament — on the draw, the entry lists and in review. Elsewhere you keep your usual profile picture. • Court queue: each waiting player shows how long they have been off court, turning amber at 30 minutes and red at 45, so nobody is left sitting out too long. • Messages: the unread count now sits on the Messages button instead of on every conversation.

More info, written by the host • Hosts can now write More info for a session — rules, what to bring, how to pay. Tap Add more info on your session, type it, and save. It sits on the session page above Join, where players read it before committing. • Players can select and copy it, so a payment number is easy to use. Links in it are shown as plain text. • It can also be written when you post or edit a session. Easier sign-up • If an email address has a common typo in it, like gamil.com, the app now says so before sending your code, so you don't wait for a code that can never arrive.

Club leaderboard • See which clubs get the most people on court. Open Clubs and tap Club leaderboard: clubs score for every player who turned up, every game played and every result recorded over the last 12 months. Charge per game • Hosts can now set a price per game played, for example 70 per game. It goes on the bill for every finished game on the Court Queue, on top of any other fees. Who owes what shows each player's games and their total. • The session page now shows the whole price before you join: the court share, entry fee and per-game price. Shared invitations include the per-game price too. Messages • Each message shows when it was sent, and messages are grouped by sender with a divider for each day, so you can see at a glance how long someone has been waiting. Works without signal • Run the Court Queue at a venue with no signal. Discover, the session page and the Court Queue open from what was last loaded on your phone, so you can keep sending players on court and ending games. • Nothing you tap is lost. Every change is saved on your phone and sent as soon as there is a connection, even if you've moved to another tab or left the app. • Record match results with no signal too. The result sheet opens the moment a game ends, and results are sent first when you're back online. • The top of the Court Queue shows when changes are still saving, or waiting for a connection. Faster • The Court Queue responds instantly: every tap shows on the board straight away and is saved in the background. • Screens load noticeably faster, especially far from our servers. A session page used to ask for its details one at a time; it now asks for them all at once. Club leaderboard • See which clubs get the most people on court. Open Clubs and tap Club leaderboard: clubs score for every player who turned up, every game played and every result recorded over the last 12 months. Privacy • A player waiting to be accepted as a guest no longer sees the Court Queue or the costs until they're let in. • If you delete your account, you can now tell us why. It's optional, and your answer is kept without your name.

Message your host • Have a question about a session? Tap Message the host on the session page. Hosts and club admins can message the players on their sessions too. Text and emoji, with "Seen" and typing indicators. • Every conversation shows which session it's about — the date, time and venue — pinned at the top, so a screenshot says it all. Messages are deleted a day after the session ends. Pick your partner for a game • Want to practise with someone? On the Court Queue, one of you taps Show my code and the other taps Request a partner and scans it. The queue master then puts you in the line together for your next game. Court Queue • When a game ends, everyone goes to Here, not queued, unless they were already planned into the next game. Nobody is queued automatically any more: the queue master adds players or taps Plan the next game. Discover and clubs • Follow a club straight from one of its sessions, and hear about its new public sessions. • When the feed is filtered by sport or day, the end of the list says so and how many sessions are hidden, with one tap to clear. Tapping Discover again clears the filters too.

RACKETID on iPad • RACKETID now runs on iPad, in portrait and landscape. Discover and Clubs show two or three cards across, and pages keep a comfortable reading width instead of stretching. • Session, club and profile pages use both halves of the screen: the session or club on the left, its players, join requests and members on the right. • The Court Queue splits into courts and the waiting line, each scrolling on its own, with bigger faces to tap, and the screen stays awake while you run the night. Say why when you decline • When you turn down a guest request or a request to join your club, you can add a short message. The player sees it in their alerts, and can report it if it's inappropriate. Player cards, with more privacy • Club owners and admins can open the player card of anyone asking to join. • Hosts and club admins see a summary — ratings and totals — for the players in their sessions and clubs. Recent sessions show only while you're deciding on a request. • A card now lists only sessions the player actually played, from the last 90 days, by month. No-shows count the last 90 days too. • Tap yourself in any player list to see your own card. Also • On your profile, your email, phone and password now sit together, right after your home city.

Player cards for hosts • When a player asks for a guest spot, tap them to see their player card: their user ID, their rating in each sport, and their recent sessions — which ones they played, checked in to, or didn't show up for. "Played" means they had at least one game in that session's Court Queue. • Hosts and club admins can open the same card from the session's player list, so you can still check a guest after letting them in. Record every result • When you end a game in the Court Queue, the app now asks for the result straight away. Record it there, or tap Later and record it from Game history. A fairer night summary • A drawn game now counts as half a win and half a loss, so players whose games ended level no longer rank below everyone who lost.

More info for your sessions • Hosts can now add a "More info" image to a session after posting it — the rules, the prizes, and how to pay. Use a portrait or square image; the app sizes it for you. • Players tap More info on the session page to see it full screen, and can save it to Photos or share it. Shorter share links • Sessions and tournaments now share as short links, like play.racketid.net/s/QYNMJH. Links you have already shared keep working. A fairer night summary • The night summary now ranks by win rate with one win and one loss added to every record, then by wins minus losses, then by points won minus points lost. One lucky win no longer tops the table, and nobody moves up just for playing more games.

Know who is hosting • A session's page now shows its host: how long they have been on RACKETID, how many sessions they have hosted, how many players have joined them, how many came back, and the club they run. A host who has not run a session yet is marked as new. Skill levels • Hosts can mark a session "Intermediate & up". You'll see it on the session in Discover and on its page, and you'll be asked to confirm your level before joining. It is a guide, not a gate — nobody is turned away. • On a session's Players list, tap the three coloured dots to show each player's skill level as a ring around their picture. • The Court Queue has a new Levels key that explains what each ring colour means.

Times in the right city Every session and tournament now shows its time in the clock of the city where it is played. A 7 PM game in General Santos reads 7 PM on your phone whether you are in General Santos or in Jeddah — and the time you share with friends is the time they will actually be playing. • A session's page now says which city it is in and which clock its times are in: "Tagum, Philippines", "GMT+8". • When you post or edit a session in another city, you set the time in that city's clock, and the form tells you which one it is. Sharing a session • The message now says how many courts the night runs on: "SBC (4 courts)". Posting a session • A session now needs a venue or an address before it can be posted, so everybody you invite knows where to go. An older session without one asks for it the next time you edit it. Fixed • In singles pickleball live scoring, the score is now called server first, the way it is called on court. It was sometimes read the wrong way round.

Live scoring for badminton Badminton now has its own live scorer, built for rally scoring: every rally is a point, and the side that wins it serves next. • The score is called the way an umpire calls it — server first — with who is serving and from where: "Faisal serves from the right". • Partners trade places on screen when they win a rally on their own serve, and the server has a flashing ring, so you can check the court against the screen. • Switch sides puts each team on the side you see it from, and before each game you can swap a pair to match how they are standing. • In doubles, tap who won the toss, then tap the side that wins each rally. The winner of a game serves first in the next. Pickleball live scoring follows the court • Partners trade places on screen when their team scores, and after a side out the serve goes to the player on the right — so the screen matches the court all game. • The serving player's chip is always lit. • You can swap a pair to match how they are standing before every set, not just the first. Locked-in pairs A new way to run the court queue, for nights played in fixed partnerships. Choose Locked-in pairs as the queue engine, and partners who finish a game together stay partners for the rest of the night. • Waiting pairs have their own card, showing the games they have played together and their wins and losses tonight. • Tap a pair to put them on the same team in Up next — never on opposite sides of the net. • When a game ends you are asked who won, with the score optional, so tonight's table fills itself as you go. • Disband a pair at any time and both go back to the players waiting to be added. Night summary The trophy on the court queue opens tonight's table: games played, and pairs and players ranked by wins, then win rate, then points. No money in it. Share it as a picture, ready for Facebook or Instagram with gold and silver for the top two, or as text for the group chat. Fixed • In Arabic, the live scorer now keeps the court's left and right the way you see them. • The umpire board no longer offers live scoring for sports it cannot score yet.

Live scoring Somebody who is not playing can now score a game point by point while it is being played — from the court queue on a club night, or from the umpire board for the tournament match they have taken. Pickleball's side-out rule is built in: only the serving side scores, and a rally won by the receiving side moves the serve instead. The two sides are called A and B, with a face over every seat, so "A2 serving" names somebody you can check against the court. Tap the side that won the rally and the score, the serve and the third number follow. Before the first point, choose which side opens 0-0-2 — the side serving first gets one server, the player on the right facing the net. Undo takes back the last rally, and finishing records the result exactly as typing it in always has. Umpires A tournament can now recruit umpires, and you can apply from the tournament page. Once accepted you get a board of the day's matches, with the players' faces on every row: take one, score it live, or hand it back. Sessions and clubs • Sharing a session says how full it is once it is filling up — "10 of 14 going · 4 spots left". • A club's past sessions open on their own page, with the court queue one tap away. • A club page shows the club's WhatsApp chat, if it has one. • Hosts, queue masters and club admins see who has checked in on the player list, from an hour before the start. Nobody else sees it. New here? There is a short tour after you set up your account — how to find a game near you, how to start a club, and how to post a session. It points at the button rather than describing it, and you can open it again from your profile. Fixed • Editing the planned next games could take a player off the court they were playing on. • A court queue that had not refreshed could end the same game twice. • A club with a very wide banner drew its page wider than the screen. • Tapping a tournament's club badge from the Discover feed did nothing.

Finding a session The Discover feed can now be narrowed to one sport, and to a particular day when there's a lot on. Both controls stay out of the way when they would not help — if only one sport is on near you, there is nothing to choose between. How much a session counts When you post a session you can now say whether it is a fully rated session or casual play. A fully rated session's results count in full towards everybody's rating. A casual one counts for less — but it builds confidence in the number just as fast, so a casual night is never a wasted one. The session page says which it is, and it is fixed once the first game is recorded. A clearer word What used to be called your "handle" is now called your user ID. It is the same @name and nothing about it has changed — only the label, which people kept reading as something else.

Court queue on a screen Put your session's court queue on a TV at the venue. Open the queue, tap Show on TV, and type the short link into the television's browser — it shows who is on court and who is next, and keeps itself up to date. Nobody has to sign in on the TV. Recording a game Tap who won before you save, and we check that the score agrees — so a score typed into the wrong column can no longer record a win for the wrong side. Recording a game with somebody new to that sport lets you set the level they start at. Leaderboards Every sport now has a leaderboard, showing only the players whose rating we are confident of. Your profile links to it. Clubs Clubs have a noticeboard. Owners and admins post to members, or to everybody. Sessions Pick a length of 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours — or longer for a night that runs on. Cities The picker shows the region, so two places with the same name can be told apart — and the city you pick is the city that gets recorded. Signing in Mistype your email domain — gamil.com for gmail.com — and we offer the address we think you meant.
