• Videos in the shared vault now start playing while they download — no more waiting for the whole file. • On Wi-Fi, your partner's latest videos are saved in advance, so they open instantly. • The photo or video you open now loads first, even while the rest of the grid is still loading.

• A fresh design across the whole app — clearer and smoother. • Break-in log (Premium): if someone enters a wrong passcode, see when it happened and, if you turn it on, a front-camera photo. Everything stays on this device. • Encrypted backup file: keep your entire vault as one password-protected file in the Files app. Creating is Premium; restoring is free. • Uploads cut off when you leave the app now pick up on their own when you come back.

• Link Apple and Google sign-in to one account. See Settings › Sign-In Methods. • When you invite someone new to a vault your partner left, we tell you about the photos still in it first. • Before connecting a couple vault, you'll see a short summary of how Breakup Mode works. • Reinstalling the app now starts cleanly from the beginning. • Items your partner deleted now disappear from older pages too.

A big round of reliability and clarity improvements. ■ More reliable · The couple vault now loads all your older photos · After changing your vault passcode, reinstalling restores with the new passcode · If the app locks while you're viewing a photo, the photo closes too · Fixed freezes when opening or sharing large videos · If some items couldn't be imported, we tell you how many ■ Simpler · Cleaner sign-in screen and couple vault header · Breakup Mode guidance now matches exactly how it works · Slightly larger, clearer text

Smoother sign-in and clearer messages. ■ Sign-in · The sign-in method you used last time on this device now shows a "Last used" badge, so you don't end up in a different account by mistake · If this iPhone's Apple ID has an active subscription, Pro shows up as soon as you sign in ■ Messages · When something goes wrong while connecting, inviting or during Breakup Mode, we now tell you what happened and what to do next · Fixed some error messages appearing in Korean when the app is in English

We made the biggest moments for the two of you a little clearer. ■ When you connect · When your invite code links you, your two avatars come together and a heart lights up where they meet · Tap to close it right away ■ When your partner's photo arrives · New photos come into focus from a blur, with a brief outline so you can tell at a glance what just arrived ■ Invite code · Your code now fills in one slot at a time ■ Also · If Reduce Motion is on, everything appears quietly without movement

We rebuilt the screen you see when it ends. ■ Breakup Mode · The days remaining now sit at the centre of the screen · The first thing you're told is that nothing has been deleted yet · You no longer scroll past blurred photos. Open them only when you want to ■ Invites · "Send the invite" is now the button that stands out · Before you send, you're told your partner needs an iPhone on iOS 18 or later ■ Plans · Added a line so the free plan's time limit doesn't read as deletion. Nothing is deleted · When you haven't put anything in yet, we point to the next step instead of a price ■ Also · Fixed the passcode field reading in Korean when the app is in English

Clearing out the Korean that was still showing up in English. ■ Invite message · The invite message went out in Korean even when the app was in English. Fixed ■ Fix a connection problem · Connection, role and vault state now read in English ■ Storage limit · You're told before you hit the limit, not after, along with the fact that lower video quality fits more ■ Sign-in security · Apple sign-in now carries a one-time value, so an intercepted sign-in can't be replayed

Tidying up what you see on screen. ■ If you use English · Video quality in Settings, the uploading indicator and the stop confirmation now read in English. Parts of them were still in Korean ■ Storage size · Changing Settings · Language now changes the size units too. They used to follow the device language instead · An empty vault no longer reads "Zero KB"

Uploading videos is much faster. ■ Less waiting · Pick several and we fetch the next one ahead of time — in our own measurements, uploading four videos took a third of the time it used to · The same quality now fits in less than half the size ■ You can see what you're waiting for · Videos stored only in iCloud have to be downloaded first. We now say "Downloading from iCloud" and show how far along it is · Shrinking and uploading are told apart ■ You can stop it · While uploading, the button in the bottom right becomes a stop button with a ring that fills as it goes · Tap it, confirm, and it stops. Anything already uploaded stays ■ We tell you when it's done · A notification arrives when everything is up, even if you're in another app · What you uploaded is never written in the notification

We reworked uploading videos. ■ Much faster · The same quality now fits in less than half the size · Uploading starts as soon as the first one is ready, so picking several no longer means waiting for all of them ■ You can stop it · While uploading, the button in the bottom right turns into a stop button. Tap it, confirm, and it stops · Anything already uploaded stays, and you can pick again right away ■ You can see what's happening · We tell you whether we're shrinking the video or uploading it · And how many of how many ■ It keeps going when you move away · Switch tabs or step out to the Home screen and it continues · Quitting the app fully does stop it ■ You can choose video quality · Settings > Video quality — Medium, High, or Original · Medium is the default. It looks fine on a phone and uploads fastest

Fixes for the English display. · Section titles in Settings no longer repeat themselves, such as "SECURITY · SECURITY" · Your partner's plan row no longer shows Korean text Nothing changes if you use the app in Korean.

Our privacy policy has been revised. ■ Policy revision (effective September 17, 2026) · The app now records which steps you have reached — whether you finished setup, sent an invite, or connected with your partner · What you store, what you open, and how often you use the app are not recorded · Photos are still encrypted on your device and the key never leaves it. We still cannot see your content. That has not changed · The full revised policy is in Settings > Privacy Policy We keep this record so we can find the screen where people get stuck and fix it.

Inviting someone is now a single link. ■ Invite link · Send one link. Without the app it opens a page that shows the code; with the app it opens straight to the join screen, already filled in · No more copying six characters by hand ■ Choose how the list looks · Three tile sizes — Large, Default, Compact · The couple vault can be shown as a timeline or a grid. The grid takes in more at once when photos pile up · Your choice is remembered on this device ■ Breakup mode · Before you connect with someone new, we ask what to do with the photos still in the vault · Delete them now, or keep them and continue ■ Sign-in · We tell you which method you used last time · If a different account is about to create a new vault, we check first · With the app language set to English, the terms and policy open in English too Diagnostics were improved so problems surface sooner.

Fixes for the places where the app got stuck. ■ Free plan · Your partner's Premium was sometimes read as Free, locking items older than 21 days · Once storage was full, locked items could not be deleted — leaving no way to either add or remove anything · Tapping the storage card opened the paywall, even though storage is 20 GB on both plans and Premium does not add any ■ Recover a vault that seemed to be gone In some cases the invite flow detached your previous vault. Nothing was deleted — the photos were still there — but the app gave you no way to find them. You can now open the list of your vaults in Settings and switch back. And a vault that still holds items is no longer discarded without asking. ■ The app notices when a couple link breaks "It says we're connected but nothing shows up" now has a name and a cause. Settings › Connection check shows the state and lets you repair it on the spot, including re-inviting a specific partner. ■ Photos that won't open now tell you why Settings › Vault health check shows which items fail and why, and lets you clear out the ones that cannot be recovered. ■ No more silent failures Connection and breakup changes could previously be applied only halfway and still report success. Cancelling a breakup is now verified afterwards. ■ Support requests carry your state Your app and device version and vault state are attached. You see exactly what is included before it is sent, and no photo or file name is part of it. ■ Help section Explains up front what can be undone and what cannot. ■ Stability Crash reports are collected to find the cause of unexpected quits. You can turn this off in Settings › Vault health check.

A complete redesign. ■ New design Every screen has been redrawn — the lock screen, both vaults, the paywall, and settings. Your private vault and your couple vault now have distinct visual languages. ■ Lighter videos Videos now take up far less space when saved, and uploads to your couple vault finish much faster. ■ Video playback, rebuilt · Tap the screen to hide or show the controls · Skip back and forward 10 seconds · Loop playback and fill-screen · Rotate to landscape for a full-width view · Sound plays even with the silent switch on ■ Couple vault · Fixed: photos and videos would not open on the partner's account · Fixed: joining with an invite code did not work · Timeline — see who added what, and when · Activity log — see who opened what; entries are deleted after 90 days ■ Do more at once Select several photos and videos to delete, share, or send to your couple vault. ■ Progress you can see Importing, uploading, and downloading now show how far along they are. ■ Breakup mode Nothing disappears the moment you tap. Access stops for both of you, and you get time to change your mind. ■ Also · The paywall explains why you hit a limit · Clearer state when you've gone over your storage limit · Sharper card previews
