New: Doppler Radar. • A new Doppler Radar tile plays the latest radar loop from NWS Honolulu and refreshes itself every 5 minutes. • Open the tile to switch between the statewide Hawaii mosaic and the Kaua‘i, Moloka‘i, Kohala, and South Point radars. StormWatch remembers the radar you picked. • On iPhone and iPad, pinch to zoom in on the loop. Be prepared and be safe!

A small fix for the news tiles: • The Hawai‘i Emergency Management and Hawaii Weather News tiles no longer go blank. When there's nothing new, the tile says so, and when a source feed can't be reached, the tile tells you it's temporarily unavailable instead of looking empty. Anything already on screen stays put until the feed is back. Be prepared and be safe!

New: Community Outage Reports. • Power out? Tap Report outage on the map, use your location or drop a pin, and neighbors can see whether it's just their house or the whole area. Reports are anonymous, need no account, and are never tied to your name, address, or Apple ID. • The map shows reports grouped by neighborhood, colored by how many people have reported: yellow for one, orange for two, red for three or more, and green once two or more people say the power is back. • No signal? Your report is saved on your phone and sent on its own when a connection returns. • Reports clear by themselves after 24 hours. Report again to restart the clock, or withdraw yours any time. • This does not notify Hawaiian Electric or KIUC. The report screen shows the right outage line for your island so you can call them directly. Be prepared and be safe!

A small fix for the maps: • Stream gauge, Hohonu, and earthquake markers now stay a sensible size at every zoom level. Zoom in on Kāne‘ohe or Hilo and the icons no longer balloon and pile on top of each other; zoom out to the whole state and they stay easy to spot. Be prepared and be safe!

Stream Gauges now watch the water where it reaches people first: • 20 Hohonu water level sensors join the USGS network — loko i‘a fishponds at He‘eia, Waikalua, Moli‘i, Loko Ea, and Alakoko, Kāne‘ohe Bay, Keawawa Wetland, Kuliouou Stream, Waiāhole Bridge, and the Wahiawa Reservoir spillway and Pu‘ukapu Retarding Dam, where the dam operators set the alert levels we show. • Hohonu stations appear as ▲ triangles on the maps and carry a HOHONU tag in the list, with the reading's datum, trend arrow, and the owner's advisory level. Tap a triangle on the map for the full picture, including warning thresholds and a link to the station's live chart. • A new loading animation for the Stream Gauges tile: a river rising up a staff gauge. Be prepared and be safe!

• Live Activities update on their own — the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen alert now refresh automatically from our servers, even when the app is closed. When an alert is extended, upgraded, or cancelled, your phone knows right away. • Alerts that stay active for days now keep updating reliably, even after your iPhone restarts the app in the background. • Fixed an Apple Watch complication issue where an expired alert could linger on your watch face — it now always reflects what's current.
