Airplanes.live
Live uncensored plane tracking
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
See every aircraft in the sky — unfiltered.
Airplanes.live is a live flight tracker powered by the community-run airplanes.live receiver network. Unlike other trackers, it shows you everything the network sees: airliners, general aviation, helicopters, and the military and privacy-flagged traffic that other apps remove.
THE MAP
• Live aircraft colored by altitude, with type-specific silhouettes
• Tap any aircraft for photos, route, altitude, speed, and registered owner
• Flight trails, search by callsign / registration / hex
• Light and dark maps, all served from our own infrastructure
WEATHER
• Live NOAA/NWS radar overlay, animated or latest-frame
• See the weather traffic is flying around, in real time
ATC SCOPE MODE
• A radar-scope view with data blocks — callsign, flight level, speed, type
• Convergence alerts between converging aircraft
• Emergency squawk (7500/7600/7700) highlighting
PRO
• Weather radar, advanced filters, unlimited watchlist, and alerts
• Feed data to airplanes.live? Pro is free for feeders.
Aircraft positions come from publicly broadcast ADS-B signals received by a volunteer community. For informational and educational use — not for navigation, separation, or safety-of-life purposes.

Ratings & Reviews
Replay the sky
Scrub the whole map back in time and watch every aircraft fly again, up to about a day back. Play at 1x, 4x or 16x, or jump to a moment. Pro.
Alerts on your terms
Set quiet hours, space alerts about the same aircraft, cap how many you get in a day, or bundle them into an hourly digest. Mute an aircraft or everything straight from the notification. Emergency squawks always come through. Pro.
Notable traffic
Military, interesting, and privacy-flagged aircraft are ringed on the map and badged on their card, with plain words for what PIA and LADD mean. Mission callsigns are named where we can source them. You can also be alerted when one comes near a place you care about (Pro).
Overhead widget
A Home Screen and Lock Screen widget showing the most interesting aircraft above you, and how old that information is.
Follow, without the fight
Pan or pinch while following and the map lets go, with a pill to resume. Track up turns the map with the aircraft. If it goes quiet, the map holds its last position and says so.
Routes that show their work
Every route says how we know it, and a progress bar shows distance to go and an arrival estimate from current speed.
Also new
Your own receiver's aircraft are ringed on the shared map, with a stats screen for your feeder. Night mode for dark skies. Watchlist aircraft show where they were last heard. A new Lock Screen and Widgets page in Settings.
