If the app told you biometrics weren't available and wouldn't let you start your shift, that is fixed. Fingerprint and face unlock are now recognised on many more phones, and a sensor that was simply busy for a moment no longer looks like one that doesn't exist. • If you haven't set up a fingerprint or face unlock yet, the app now offers to take you straight to the right settings screen. • If your phone genuinely cannot confirm who you are, you can still clock in. Your shift is never blocked — the punch is recorded as unconfirmed instead.
