• Listen: hear a chapter's notes read aloud, even with the screen locked, from the reader or the new Listen page. • Natural-sounding AI voices, made on your iPhone or iPad, in one optional download. • Listen & recall reads your SnapCards aloud, and a topic heard to the end is ticked off. • Clear stored data, on your Profile, can fix a page that keeps closing or reloading. You stay signed in. • Swiping back now moves the page with your finger, as elsewhere on iOS.

Notifications • Scholar can now tell you about announcements from your teachers and new study material, even when the app is closed. It only asks when you tap Turn on, and you can change it any time in Settings. • The Notifications page groups what arrived, says when, and shows where each one leads. Study Atlas • Opening a SnapCard or a map node counts in your study log straight away. Flipping a card in the grid counts too. • A card earns its point once you have read it for five seconds, in the grid or full screen, and a map node counts towards its map the same way, in the map or full screen. A star marks a card you have earned; an eye marks one you have opened. • Each chapter shows how many cards and nodes are left, and finishing them all earns a 25-point bonus. • Full screen keeps your place in SwiftNotes, and long chapter and topic titles wrap instead of being cut off. • Highlights can be recoloured or removed straight away, and the reading tools are easier to read when switched on. Everything else • Study Analytics now counts all of your activity, however much you have done. • Announcements show which teacher posted them, and your EPA timeline names the faculty member who observed you. • Signing out of Scholar signs you out on this device only. • Scholar opens faster.

Apple Pencil • The pencil draws on figures while your finger still highlights prose, so each tool belongs where you expect it. • Highlight by dragging, and tap a highlight to get its actions. • A laser pointer that reads as light, for pointing things out during group study. • The eraser shows what it is about to remove before it takes anything, and a quick scrub no longer skips over a stroke. • Ink drawn on a figure now stays with that figure rather than the card. Rewards and leaderboard • Rewards shows your real points and explains exactly how each one is earned. • Every subject has a points ceiling you can actually reach, and each achievement counts once. • The leaderboard shows real names and is scoped to your subject. Exams • "Exams & Results", and any exam or result notification, now open the EDDLYNN Exam app directly instead of an in-app browser. If it is not installed, it opens in your browser. Fixes • Chapters containing only a quiz are reachable again. • A Google account that is not on your institution's roster now gets a plain explanation instead of a technical error.

Handwriting and reading tools • QuickNotes — a proper notebook with Apple Pencil: multiple pages, a filmstrip you can drag to reorder, and lasso cut, copy and paste between pages. • Annotate revision-sheet figures and SwiftNotes topics with the Pencil, in colour, with undo and a precise eraser. • Highlight by dragging, then tap a highlight for its actions. • A laser pointer for reading, with a line mode. • The reading tools now sit behind one labelled button instead of a column of them, and Focus mode gives the page back. Rewards and leaderboard • The leaderboard shows real names, and you can rank within a single subject. • Your Scholar Points now appear against what each subject is worth, so you can see how far through it you are. • A new "How Scholar Points work" panel sets out exactly what everything earns, including the weekly limit on study points. • You can choose not to appear on the leaderboard. Also in this update • Practice questions are grouped by learning outcome. • Chapters whose only content is practice questions can now be opened. • Points are no longer awarded twice for the same card, topic or question when you study on more than one device.
