WaveLog Pro: Sound Reports

BWF & iXML Log to PDF and ALE

Free · In‑App Purchases

WaveLog Pro turns your recorder's WAV files — from an SD card, USB-C drive, or any folder in Files — into a broadcast-ready sound report in seconds. No laptop, no cloud, no late-night spreadsheet. Built for location-sound mixers, boom operators, and indie filmmakers. Point WaveLog at your Broadcast WAV files and it reads the iXML and bext metadata on-device: scene, take, roll, timecode in/out, sample rate, bit depth, and track names. Flag circle takes, wild tracks, and room tone with one tap, then export an industry-standard PDF sound sheet, Avid ALE, or CSV to hand to editorial before you wrap. CORE LOOP • Import — parse 200+ multi-track BWF headers in under 2 seconds • Review — scene-grouped takes with timecode, formats, and track chips • Flag — Circle Take, Wild Track, Room Tone, False Start, Noise Issue • Export — vector PDF sound reports, Avid ALE, and CSV with your production title, director, mixer, and company logo BUILT FOR THE FIELD • Works fully offline — perfect for stages and remote locations • Dark mode tuned for low-light sets • Manual set-logging dock for rigs without iXML • Per-file error isolation — one bad file never blocks the day • Universal: iPhone, iPad, and Mac FREE TO START A 3-day free trial on the Monthly plan (or purchase Annual / Lifetime) unlocks the app after onboarding. WaveLog Pro then makes PDF, ALE, and CSV exports unlimited for the life of the entitlement. PRIVACY FIRST WaveLog Pro is 100% client-side. Your files and reports never leave your device. No account. No tracking. No analytics. REQUIREMENTS iOS 17, iPadOS, or macOS 14. Works with Broadcast WAV files from Sound Devices, Zoom, Deity, Tentacle, and any recorder that writes BWF/iXML.
