Your notch, finally doing something: now playing, volume and battery at a glance - plus a launcher, timer, clipboard, notes, weather and world clocks a hover away
Eclipse Notch turns the dark strip at the top of your screen into something useful.
Leave it alone and it stays a notch. Change the volume, plug in the charger, or start a track, and it widens just enough to show you what happened before returning to its original size. Point at it and it opens into a small panel with a tab for each thing you actually reach for.

Timer - A countdown with a chime, visible from anywhere.
Calendar - Today's events, with a heads-up before a meeting starts.
Clocks - World clocks displayed over a day-and-night map.
Weather - Current conditions and the forecast for the days ahead.
Pi-hole - Query statistics and blocking status from your own Pi-hole server.
Tweaks - Quickly adjust your system settings.
Bluetooth - View your connected Bluetooth devices.
MADE TO FIT
Choose whether it opens on hover, on click, or with a trackpad tap, and how long it waits before doing so. Show only the tabs you want, in the order you want them. Give it an opening and closing sound, or none at all. Put it on the built-in display, an external display, or all of them.
No notch? It works anyway. Eclipse Notch can draw a stand-in at the screen edge or float as a pill if you'd rather it didn't pretend.
Available in 33 languages, with a language picker if you'd rather it didn't follow your system language.
QUIET BY DEFAULT
Your notes, snippets, launcher shortlist, and settings stay on your Mac. Calendar and camera access are requested only when you first open a tab that needs them, and denying either permission leaves the rest of the island working normally. Weather requests include a location and nothing else.

Eclipse Notch is free to download. The closed island works at no cost, including now playing, volume and battery alerts, timers, and live activities.
The expanded island's tabs - Dock, Timer, Calendar, Clocks, Weather, Snippets, Notes, Mirror, Finder, Pi-hole, Tweaks, and Bluetooth - require Eclipse Notch Pro, available as a one-time purchase or a subscription:

Monthly - $0.99 per month, with a 3-day free trial
Lifetime - $12.99, one-time purchase, no subscription
Subscriptions are charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency.

Settings has been rebuilt around a sidebar.
Every module - Weather, Clocks, Finder, Pi-hole, the Dock and the rest now has a page of its own instead of sharing one long scroll.
New Hybrid island surface: Liquid Glass with black poured down it, solid where the island meets the notch and clearing towards the bottom edge so the lensing still shows. Requires macOS 26.
World Clock cities can now be pinned and removed from Settings, not only from the tab itself.
Clipboard history can be cleared on the spot, rather than waiting for a quit.
