Captions in more languages, straight out of the box. - The captions model now comes with Zella. Captions work the moment you install, offline, in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Russian, Indonesian and more. - Bangla captions: a free Bangla captions model writes বাংলা in Bangla script. Zella offers it the first time you caption in Bangla. - Hindi and other Indian languages: Zella offers the free Best captions model, which writes Hindi, Urdu, Tamil and their neighbours in their own script. - Chinese captions now come out in Simplified characters, or Traditional in Taiwan and Hong Kong. - A cleaner home screen and a tidier editor: the tools you use most come first. - The bigger models download once from zellahq.com and then work offline.

- Colour looks now keep skin tones and white backgrounds natural. Every look protects faces and white pages, so selfie videos and screen recordings stay clean while the room, the sky and the highlights get the grade. - Looks render exactly as they do on Mac. Highlights are no longer dimmed, and 42 classic looks now match their Mac versions. - Bright footage no longer blows out. Looks such as Aesthetic Soft, Y2K Digicam, Golden Hour, Soft Glow and Portra 400 now hold their highlights. - Looks that barely showed (Bleach Bypass, Punchy, Dewy Glow, Autumn Leaves) and look-alike pairs now each have their own character.

- Hide sensitive info in one sentence. Ask the AI Assistant to "blur the access token" and it finds tokens, API keys, passwords and emails on screen and blurs them for as long as they show. Everything runs on your iPhone. - 85 new text animations in 12 families, from Fade and Blur to 3D, Bounce, Wave, Decode and Glitch, each with In, Loop and Out. Select a title and open Text Animations. - Use your own fonts. Tap Add font in the font picker to import .ttf, .otf or .ttc files, in any language, including Bangla, Hindi, Arabic, Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. - 50 new colour looks, with family filters and swatches. - Smoother transitions: Luma Fade, Spin, Whip Pan, Ink Bleed, Zoom Out and more play cleanly, with no pops or black gaps. - 58 new creator sound effects, 101 in all, with search and live counts. Music and voiceover now land on time, and music stays down under every sentence. - Add now leads the tool strip, and the timeline has more room on smaller iPhones. - Bigger tap targets and better VoiceOver, Voice Control, Reduce Motion and Larger Text support. - Fixes: every export can be cancelled and only one runs at a time, caption models download on Wi-Fi when you switch size, and one damaged saved look no longer wipes the others.

- Colour looks are easy to see now. A look starts at 75% strength, and strong looks keep their shadows instead of turning them pure black. - 10 new text looks for creators: Hook Yellow, Sticker Label, Highlighter Swipe, Frosted Pill, Editorial Serif, Chat Bubble, Chunky 3D, Keyword Punch, Typewriter Receipt and Gradient Pop. - Blur background now gives a portrait look: a softer background, and you stay bright and sharp in front of it. - Captions are added only when you ask. Auto-Polish leaves them out; tap Captions or Make it Viral to add them. - The Edit button no longer sits on top of your title, and a dashed outline shows the text while you move it.

- Arrows, labels and other callouts now appear on the timeline. Tap one to edit it. - Tapping anything on the timeline opens that item's own controls. - Auto-Polish shows what it will do before you start, and its progress bar now runs to the end. - VoiceOver can now reach every item on the timeline.

Add a clip from another project. Every take you record or import stays in Zella's own library, and the Add menu can now drop one straight onto the timeline you are editing - no exporting a project and importing it back through Photos. Tick the clips you want and they land at the end of your timeline, ready to trim like any other clip. Cut silence now clears the short pauses it used to leave behind. Pauses from about half a second up are removed, and every cut still keeps the same breathing room around your words, so nothing gets clipped.

This update fixes four issues reported by early users. Cut Empty Space now removes the pauses it used to leave behind. On takes with a click, a breath or room noise between words, whole pauses were surviving the cut. It now finds them reliably. Remove Noise and Polish Voice no longer clip the edges of your words. They were cutting into breaths, trailing consonants and soft word beginnings. Your voice comes through intact, with the noise still gone. The Studio panel no longer covers the timeline. You can see and scrub your clips while captions, transitions and the other tools are open. Make it Viral now places a handful of transitions at the strongest cuts instead of one on every single cut, which made long videos slow and busy.
