You read the way you learned to at seven years old. Word by word, eyes hopping along the line, an inner voice reading every syllable out loud. That habit costs you hours every single day.
BoltRead breaks it in 20 seconds.
Instead of your eyes moving across the text, the text comes to your eyes: one word at a time, in exactly the same spot, at lightning speed. Your gaze stays still. No jumping, no re-reading, no subvocalizing. Just reading.
You feel it immediately. Most people double their speed in the first session.
HOW IT WORKS
Every word flashes on its own, with one orange focus letter placed exactly where your eye naturally lands. Your brain recognizes the word without your eye having to move. The technique is called RSVP, and it's why 600, 800 or 1,000 words per minute suddenly become possible.
WHAT YOU GET
• Reading test with comprehension questions – your real baseline, not a guess
• Speed from 100 to 1,000 WPM, fully adjustable
• Warm-up mode that starts slow and eases you up
• Focus letter on/off, 1–3 words per flash
• Auto-resume – close the app, pick up exactly where you stopped
• Progress, streaks and stats that keep you coming back
• Fully localized in English and German
WHAT TO READ
63,000 free books from the Project Gutenberg catalog – classics, mysteries, fairy tales, philosophy, science fiction, poetry – searchable in the app and imported with a single tap.
Or bring your own: upload PDF, EPUB and TXT, or paste any text. Study material, research papers, contracts, that email you've been avoiding since yesterday.
WHO IT'S FOR
Students facing exam season. Professionals who have to read more than the day allows. Anyone with a book pile that only grows. And anyone curious how fast they could actually read.
BOLTREAD PLUS
Free gets you 3 of your own books plus the entire catalog. BoltRead Plus unlocks unlimited personal books – monthly, yearly or as a one-time purchase. Cancel anytime in your iPhone settings.
