Apple Health, actually working. In 1.2 the Health connection could close the app instead of asking permission. That is fixed. Open You, then Apple Health, and tap Connect to read your weight in and write your meals out: calories, protein, carbs and fat, with the name of the meal and where each number came from. The summary you can hand to a prescriber now also shows what its figures are made of, and how much of the protein and calories came from a label, a database match or your own correction rather than the app's estimate.

Apple Health Nutrician now reads your weight from Apple Health and writes the calories, protein, carbs and fat of meals you log back out to it. It's off until you turn it on in You → Apple Health, and you can stop it any time. Meals reach Health about an hour after you log them — on purpose, so that "I actually ate half" lands first and Health shows the final number instead of one that changes later. Also in this version • Your wins now group together, so a win you've had four times shows as one line with its count instead of four identical rows. • The coach names where a number came from when it's an estimate, and stays quiet when it isn't — so the times it speaks up actually mean something. • Clearer meal cards: longer meal names are fully readable, and the calorie figure stays legible at larger text sizes. • Fixes to the food photo view and the nutrition panel.
