- Front camera now matches the iPhone Camera app: the preview is mirrored like a mirror, and saved photos and videos come out the right way round, unless you turn on Mirror Front Camera. - Auto-wide front camera on iPhone 17: the front camera widens automatically for group selfies (iOS 26 smart framing). - Layout fixes for smaller iPhones (iPhone SE / 16e) and video mode fixes. The front camera no longer flips when you turn on an effect. - The library button is now a 2×2 grid of your latest photos, right next to playback. - Collage: drag to reposition and pinch to zoom each photo inside its box. - iPhone 17 front camera: switch between 0.6× and 1×, like the built-in Camera. - Portrait blur keeps the whole face sharp, even in backlight or in profile. - More accurate taps when selecting several photos, and landscape layout fixes for smaller iPhones.

• Faster shutter: in AUTO the photo is taken the instant you press, and the shutter sound matches it. Extra presses while the camera is still busy are skipped — no more shots firing after you stop • Faster, more responsive 48MP burst shooting • Leave the camera while a video's look is being burned in: it carries on in the background, shows its progress in the Media Library, and saves automatically

• Try before you subscribe: every new user gets a free roll of 20 exposures — shoot with every feature, then go Pro for unlimited • New quick tour on first launch: swipe for filters, swipe up/down for menus, the scene dial • The Camera Control button now always opens straight into the camera • Food scene now shoots in AUTO for cleaner, full-resolution results

• New 膚色美肌 Skin panel in the camera: smooth skin, even out blotchy colour, and set how warm or how strong skin reads — live in the viewfinder, with previews of each setting on the face in front of you. Save your own and recall it in a tap. • Smoothing is frequency separation, not a blur, and it only touches skin: pores, eyelashes, hair and fabric keep their detail. • The same controls are in the editor, where the adjustments are now grouped into sections. • Fuji PRO Neg. Std and PRO Neg. Hi added to the film simulations. • Fixes a crash on launch.

• AI resolution boost: enlarge a photo with MetalFX, which rebuilds detail instead of smoothing it away. • Focal lengths now come from the device itself, so the mm readout is right on every iPhone — not just the ones whose main lens is 24mm. • The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial again.

• Time-lapse: choose an interval and length, and the camera shoots and assembles the clip for you • Time-lapse clips appear in playback as soon as they finish saving • Time-lapse now has its own button instead of hiding inside the burst menu • Gallery: tap the corner heart to favourite a shot without opening it • Gallery: select several photos to delete or favourite them at once • Saving a memory bank (MR) now confirms it on screen • New app icon • Fixed: the wrong photo being picked in Collage and Slideshow, edit sliders hidden behind a zoomed photo, and Cancel not responding on some devices

• New Media Library — browse Recent, Favourites and Video without leaving the app • Edit right there: the camera's own looks and film simulations, plus exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, black point, saturation, sharpness, clarity, noise reduction and vignette • Depth control on portrait shots, crop and rotate, frames, and Instagram-style text • Collage with several layouts, canvas ratios and borders, plus a long-image stitch • Slideshow with crossfades, exported as 1080p video • Edits stay non-destructive — revert to the original any time in Photos • Playback redesigned: edit, share, add to album, favourite, capture date and EXIF at a glance • Culling no longer asks every time — binned shots wait in a bin you empty once • Landscape shooting layout redesigned; Portrait and Focus are now separate modes • Swipe up or down on the viewfinder to show or hide the menus

• Fixed the external SSD picker not opening — video's save-location can now correctly select an external drive • Added a new "Long Exposure" scene: P mode, ISO 100, built for a tripod • Simplified the photo save-destination option
