Film color from one iPhone: seven looks live in the viewfinder, done when you press. Film engine, P/S/A/M, night mode, 18 Pro aperture. 7-day trial, no subscription.
AIO Camera brings photography back to something simple, direct, and personal.
Seven camera looks are previewed live in the viewfinder. Your photos save straight to Apple Photos, ready to edit, share, and sync.
Highlights:
• Seven looks: As Shot, Hiyori, Streetscape, Heritage, Clearview, Natural and Chiaroscuro — swipe to switch.
• A colour × tone pad and film grain, previewed live as you drag; skin protection keeps people natural.
• Film engine: develops the RAW itself, with less of the system's processing.
• Night mode: multi-frame merging and denoising for clean low-light shots.
• Live filters, continuous zoom, tap-to-focus/expose, and AE/AF Lock.
• Program, shutter-priority and manual exposure with an exposure meter, down to seconds in the dark.
• Flash, front and rear cameras, timer, grid, aspect ratio, JPEG/HEIC/RAW + JPEG, and photo/video modes.
• Try every feature with no photo limit for 7 days, then unlock permanently with one purchase. No subscription.
All camera looks are independent creative works inspired by classic photographic aesthetics.
more • New Roll mode: nothing on screen but the shutter. After each shot, AI reads the photo and picks its look, filter and texture, so you only find out when it comes up, like a roll of film back from the lab
• Tap a Roll photo to browse and edit it in the roll, and see what it drew
• S mode's safety shift is now on by default: when the ISO needed is out of range, the shutter adjusts so photos no longer come out too dark or too bright
4.5.0 6h ago
• White balance can be remembered: a chosen preset or colour temperature stays after you reopen the app (switch it on in the white balance menu or in Settings)
• Pressing the shutter in quick succession in Film and Unprocessed no longer fails
• Finer steps among the fast manual shutter speeds, up to the sensor's limit
• Night mode: cleaner, brighter pictures in near darkness, and it comes on sooner in dim scenes
• RAW files carry an embedded preview, so Photos and other apps show them straight away
4.4.4 4d ago
• The shutter now sits above the Portrait / Photo / Video row, where the system Camera has it, for an easier reach
• Night mode: a lit street at night no longer comes out too bright, and keeps the feel of night
• Fixed white patches on vivid reds and yellows in the Film and Unprocessed viewfinder
4.4.3 5d ago
• As Shot can be the look the camera opens on, chosen in the welcome guide or in Settings
• A custom look you have adjusted now shows Save beside it, and the camera reopens on the custom look you last used
• Renaming and deleting a custom look use a new menu, fixing taps that did nothing on some phones
• Film and Unprocessed: tap to meter as well as focus, and a viewfinder closer to the photo you get
• Fixed the zoom readout lying over the shutter and ISO in S, M and A
4.4.2 5d ago
• Fixed photos turning grey when a different look was chosen in the editor
• Shutter, ISO, EV, white balance and focus now share one dial that stays in place as you switch between them
• Tap to focus and exposure compensation comes up with it
4.4.1 6d ago
• New: Face retouching in the editor, after the shot. Everything is done on this iPhone; no photo is uploaded
• One slider for a natural retouch, or adjust by part: skin, shape, eyes, nose, mouth
• Blemish removal, and Heal: tap a spot and it is gone
• Softer wrinkles and crow's feet
• In a group photo, choose which faces to retouch
• The editor's preview is now one large picture: pinch to zoom, and hold to compare with the original
4.4.0 Oct 6
• The film and original engines get a lens wheel: lenses are named by focal length, one flick changes one lens, and you feel it come off and go on
• Swiping across the viewfinder now changes the filter, and the filters are reordered with the popular ones first
• Every filter has a strength from 0 to 100, remembered per filter
• Too close to focus no longer switches lenses by itself; a hint offers the ultra-wide and a tap takes it
• The white balance dial names its lights (daylight, tungsten and so on), and its scale no longer jumps as you turn it
• Zooming or changing lenses no longer makes the focus, exposure and white balance buttons jump
4.3.0 Oct 6
• Watermark position shortcuts: tap to snap it to a corner or bottom centre, or still drag it anywhere
• The watermark slider is now labelled Opacity in Chinese too; 100% is fully opaque
4.2.1 Oct 3
• Manual dials now print their numbers on the scale, and whole stops click harder than thirds
• Use your own transparent PNG as the watermark
• Photo info lists places near where a photo was taken and opens them in Apple Maps; the editor's caption can take a place's name
• ISO can be set to AUTO in M
• The manual focus loupe can be closed, and Settings decides whether the loupe and focus peaking show
• Over-exposure and slow-shutter notices move to the top of the picture, so the dial stops jumping
• A pin on the photo preview takes you to Apple Maps to save where it was taken
• Fixed the orientation of landscape shots taken from above
• Fixed the dial scale flickering as you turn it
4.2.0 Oct 2
• Switch between General and Pro
• Custom looks: save the recipe you dialled in on the look pad under your own name, up to five, and tap to bring it back; long press to update, rename or delete.
• Watermark your videos too, with separate switches for photos and videos.
4.1.0 Sep 30
AIO Camera 4.0 — a major update
• iPhone 18 Pro variable aperture: the dial in A and M runs from f/1.48 to f/4 — in thirds of a stop for photos, stepless for video — and the iris glides as you turn, with no jumps in the viewfinder.
• Aperture while recording: in A mode, turn the aperture mid-take — depth of field changes, brightness stays put.
• Manual focus: tap Focus in P, or switch the dial to focus in S, A and M. Focus peaking outlines what is sharp in red, a loupe shows the detail, and tapping the loupe returns to autofocus.
• Auto macro (Film and Original engines): when a tap can't focus that close, the camera switches to macro and 0.5× turns into the flower; tap something farther away to go back.
• Keep Subject: every subject in the viewfinder gets a number — tap one to keep only it, tap the background to keep them all.
• The editor gains Brightness, and Keep Subject lets you tap each subject to keep it in colour or turn it grey.
• New look, Natural (H): neutral and smooth colour, replacing Natural.
• Watermark: from the top drawer, put your own words on every photo — set the opacity, drag them into place and pinch to size.
• Tidier controls: one pop-up at a time; the quick drawer now pulls down from the top; the shutter, ISO and EV wheels go darker to the right and brighter to the left, with the scale following your finger.
• Camera Control: the zoom number matches the picture, and in the Film and Original engines the slide steps between the 0.5×, 1× and 4× lenses.
• Fixed the app's storage growing over time: temporary photos and videos left from the last session are cleared at launch.
• Fixed haptics going quiet after visiting video; the microphone is no longer left on while taking photos.
4.0.0 Sep 29
• Smoother viewfinder in Portrait, fixing stutter on some iPhones
• Share a photo straight to your Instagram or Facebook Story in one tap, and quickly to Threads
• Fixed thin magenta edges around street lamps and other bright lights in night shots
3.5.4 Sep 27
THREE ENGINES
• Standard: the iPhone's own processing
• Original: developed straight from RAW, without Apple's sharpening or local tone mapping
• Film: Original plus the texture of film, with grain and halation to start
FILM TEXTURE
• Halation: the red-orange ring film throws around bright lights
• Glow: a soft, diffusion-filter bloom, live in the viewfinder
• New grain: blacks stay clean, and colour film carries a touch of colour in its grain
• Grain, halation and glow each have their own setting on the pad
EASIER
• Faster capture, noticeably so on older iPhones
• Select several photos in the review screen to share or delete at once
• Photos saved to your library or shared are named AIO_date_time
• A 2x button in M and S
• Firmer dial detents, and an exposure wheel in P
• The startup look is one of the seven styles, Hiyori by default
NIGHT
• Night mode now also comes on in the Original and Film engines
• Fewer hot pixels, no magenta rims on street lamps, fewer ghosts of passers-by
3.5.3 Sep 26
• New Portrait mode, next to Photo and Video: one tap to 2x, with skin gently softened and a softer, more natural skin tone.
• On a tripod, the "Slow shutter" warning no longer stays on during long exposures.
• In standard mode, S and M now note once that the photo's shutter and ISO are set by the system and are approximate.
• Fixed a faint halo around people's edges with some looks, such as Hiyori (F).
• Fixed photos shared by AirDrop to a Mac arriving as hidden files. They are now named by capture time.
3.5.2 Sep 24
• Variable aperture on iPhone 18 Pro: the new A (Aperture Priority) mode opens and closes the main lens between f/1.48 and f/4.0 for real, and M mode can name an aperture directly.
• New Highlight protection: the film engine now rolls the brightest tones into white instead of letting them hit it, so petals, cloud and reflections keep their detail. Can be turned off in Settings.
• New look, Lucid (S): clear colour at a slightly lower contrast. As Shot has moved onto the tone pad.
• Exposure compensation (EV) in S and A modes.
• S and M now say so when the camera cannot reach the exposure you asked for, or when the shutter is slow enough to shake.
• The white balance temperature dial now lands exactly on the daylight, tungsten and other presets.
3.5.1 Sep 24
Fixes manual shutter and ISO not taking effect in M and S modes on some models.
3.5.0 Sep 23
Fixes a crash that could occur when taking a photo in M mode on some models.
3.4.1 Sep 21
• Manual mode supports a physical variable aperture: on a lens with an aperture range, such as the iPhone 18 Pro main camera, the dial gains an f-number and the viewfinder shows that aperture's depth of field. Models with a fixed aperture don't show the control.
• The film engine now works with the front camera.
• The filter row in the viewfinder loops around.
• Colour and tone adjustments reach further, so moving them makes a clearer difference.
• With the adjustment pad open, a swipe across the picture above it still changes the colour system.
• As Shot can use the colour and tone adjustments too.
3.4.0 Sep 20
• New Keep Color filter: tap the picture to choose the color to keep; everything else goes black and white.
• New Keep Subject filter: recognizes people, animals and objects automatically — the subject stays in color, the background goes black and white.
• Editor: filters shown as thumbnails of your photo, adjustments update live, and Keep Color can be picked by tapping.
• Night mode: signs and lights no longer blow out; night mode stays off beyond the optical zoom range.
• Smoother live view on Apple Watch.
3.2.0 Sep 19
• New: Apple Watch remote — see the live view, fire the shutter, use the self-timer, zoom with the Digital Crown, and switch between photo and video from your wrist.
• White balance is now a menu: tap AWB to pick a light source, long-press to lock.
• Film mode S/M: the live view now matches the finished photo far more closely.
• Night mode protects highlights: white objects and lights no longer blow out, while shadows are lifted naturally.
• Fixed the preview looking too bright after switching from S/M back to P.
3.1.0 Sep 18
AIO Camera 3.0 — a major redesign
• New layout: P/S/M and format are drop-down menus at the top; EV, white balance and filters sit on the viewfinder; icons turn upright when you hold the phone sideways.
• New "As Shot" look, now the default, keeps the iPhone's own colour — seven looks in all, and swiping cycles through them endlessly.
• A colour × tone pad replaces the strength slider and updates the viewfinder as you drag; each look remembers its own setting.
• Skin protection: with people in the frame, looks apply at half strength on skin.
• Switch between the Standard and Film engines right from the format menu.
• S and M start from auto exposure's settings and show an exposure meter; long shutters look closer to the photo in the viewfinder.
• Night mode: fewer blown highlights in brighter scenes, and much faster, steadier processing on older iPhones.
• Photos are shared as pictures, not files.
3.0.0 Sep 17
• Night mode: fixed the ultra-wide lens being used when the zoom sat just under 1×; better ultra-wide night shots; a burst interrupted by the system now finishes itself.
• The denoiser retrained on many more iPhone 17 Pro night scenes.
• Settings: Night mode off / automatic / on.
2.1.1 Sep 16
• Film engine: every photo is a single raw frame straight from the sensor, developed and coloured by the app itself, with none of the system's multi-frame fusion or HDR. Like a one-lens film camera.
• White balance: tap to change the light, hold to lock; a kelvin dial in M.
• The six looks retuned: skin, skies and greens sit better.
• The roll pages further back into your library, up to 100 photos.
• Tidier settings, and a layout fix in M.
2.1.0 Sep 15
• Night mode: engages on its own in the dark, merges a burst of RAW frames and denoises them with an on-device model. Works on the front camera too, with automatic fill light when there is no light at all.
• Face priority: focus and exposure follow the faces in the frame, each with a square; tap one to choose it.
• Double-tap a subject to follow it; focus and exposure track it as it moves.
• Take a photo while recording video, without interrupting the recording.
• A format badge at the top opens the matching setting; the 48MP switch now lives under Output.
• A reminder when a newer version is available.
2.0.0 Sep 13
• The roll now lists your recent library photos, ready to edit with AIO Camera's looks; DNG included.
• The shutter is ready again as soon as a frame is captured, and zero shutter lag is on.
• The filter picker shows each filter on the live viewfinder in a row of small previews.
• The front camera offers 0.5x and 1x where the iPhone supports it, and opens at 0.5x.
• Fixes the front camera image being squeezed after switching the framing at 1x.
• Fixes a spurious "recording failed" message when the record button was pressed twice quickly.
• Photos deleted in the Photos app are now removed from the app's review strip as well.
• The grid switch is remembered.
1.0.12 Sep 13
• New Roll mode: nothing on screen but the shutter.
