Two new things this time, plus a pass over every button in the app. ■ Home chart Pick a song in Settings and a full chart shows up on your Home Screen: one panel per section, four bars to a row, in one of three styles (signage, panel, bare). Long-press the Home Screen, tap +, and look for OverDrive Chart. The last-rehearsal widget was clipped on both sides at its smallest size; fixed. ■ Lyrics Once a song has been transcribed, the practice page gets a Lyrics button: paste the words, the phone listens to the song and places each line on its bars, and you check the result before adding it to the chart. Lines it couldn't make out are greyed so you know which ones to look at. Recognition runs on the device and needs iOS 26; the first run downloads a model. ■ Buttons Every button was gone over: full-width actions, small option chips, the cancel/confirm pair at the bottom of sheets, tappable list rows. Sizes and selected states now match across the app. The host and join screens have a proper top bar. ■ Also The white scroll bar on the right edge of the dark interface is gone.

This one is about iPad, plus an import bug that had been sitting there all along. ■ Importing a video from Files works again Only the Photos route used to work: videos you AirDropped or copied from a computer were greyed out in the file picker. This had been broken since video practice first shipped. ■ iPad landscape no longer collapses The home screen was laid out again for landscape: the sign wall becomes a slim eave, the four doors turn sideways, and the capsule at the bottom is neither covered nor pressed against the cards. The rehearsal transport bar now picks its scale from the width it actually has — the three glass groups have gaps again, the metronome label is no longer clipped, and the play button is square. Charts, AI transcriber and video lists no longer put one card on each edge with a hole in the middle. ■ Also A few Chinese strings that leaked into the English hosting screen are fixed.

This one is about rehearsing a song the way bands actually do — again, and again. ■ When the song ends, it starts over No reaching for the phone. Every time it comes back to the top it counts you back in, so you hear it begin again instead of watching the playhead jump. ■ Two things sound right again Switch to another app and back: the backing track and metronome no longer go silent. And the guitar has a new set of samples, so a slide between two notes is a finger moving along the string, not two notes stitched together. ■ If this is your first time opening it · One chart, one playhead for the whole room — read out a 4-digit code to join. No account, no internet. · Chords in the lead sheet are coloured by scale degree, so the same degree is always the same colour — readable from a step back. · Import a song: it splits into four stems and gets its chords transcribed entirely on your device. Loop any phrase, at any speed. · A Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, and a "continue last rehearsal" widget on the Home Screen. · On iPad the rehearsal view is the whole song on a music stand: one panel per section, four bars per row.

This one is about the work under your hands. ■ Trimming a passage is a viewfinder now Picking a passage to loop — in practice, and in video practice — used to mean dragging two handles out to the ends of the waveform. Now the frame stays put on screen and the waveform slides underneath it. You push the audio; whatever sits in the frame is your loop. Both screens work the same way from here on. ■ A visual pass over four screens Rehearsal, practice, charting, room setup. The same subtraction in each: what is happening right now got brighter, and what wasn't saying anything got out of the way. The rehearsal control bar in landscape lost 11 points of height, and the chart got all of it back. ■ The lead sheet on iPad Chords are set a size larger and coloured by scale degree — the same degree is always the same colour. On a music stand you can read the next chord from a step back. ■ Three playback fixes Practice playback and rehearsal-take playback sometimes ran fast and sharp — they are back at the original tempo and pitch. Looping a whole song in stems no longer drops a short silence every dozen seconds. After a call or an alarm interrupts you, hitting play picks up where the sound stopped — no need to leave the screen and come back. ■ Also Rehearsal's NEXT cue now steps up when a section has five seconds left, which is closer to the moment you actually need it. Subscriptions add a yearly plan, cheaper than twelve months of monthly. If you already subscribe monthly, nothing changes for you.

This one is for the people who sing. ■ A new "Lead sheet" view Rehearsal now has three views: chart, lead sheet, lyrics. The lead sheet is one line per phrase with the chords sitting above the words — the line you are on is pinned to the top, and everything below it is what is coming. No more switching between "where are the words" and "where are the chords". On an iPad on a music stand the type runs a size larger, so it still reads from a step back. ■ Pickup bars Songs whose first phrase starts before the barline can be written down properly now. ■ More of it is free Joining someone else's room no longer needs a subscription — the person you called in to rehearse should not have to pay to show up. Video practice and on-device stem separation are free too. The subscription now covers three things: the AI transcriber, hosting a room, PDF export. ■ Also Stem separation uses half the memory, so long songs no longer quit partway. A room code that cannot connect tells you within eight seconds instead of spinning forever.

This update is mostly about one thing: making "import a song, get a chart" actually work. ■ Chord detection got a new brain A neural model does the listening now. Much more accurate, and a song takes about ten seconds instead of over a minute. It doesn't need stem separation first either — open a track, get a chart. Split it into stems later, when you want to solo the bass. ■ Bars and sections that look like a real chart A beat picked twice used to slide the whole grid out of phase: bars sprouted a phantom second chord and intros got swallowed. Fixed. Sections land on 8 and 16 bars now. And when the model can't tell 8 from 16 — it genuinely can't — the new "Redo sections" button lets you say which it is. ■ Library Detection flipped major and minor? One tap rewrites the song in the relative key (renumbered, not transposed). Adding a lyric line no longer drags the first line back to bar 1. Exported PDFs carry the OverDrive wordmark, so a chart you pass around says where it came from. ■ Also Redeem codes work under Settings > Subscription.
