In pointer mode the phone's pointer follows your cursor, and right-click works. • Typing: set the Mac up once as the phone's Bluetooth keyboard, then click a text field in the picture and type Chinese and English on the Mac keyboard — the phone's input method composes pinyin, Space or a digit picks a candidate, tapping Shift switches Chinese and English. Or turn on “Compose on This Mac” and candidates appear right on the Mac; press Return to send the whole line. What's new in 2.2.0: • Lets your Mac sleep: Lynsi no longer keeps it awake just because a phone is connected, and still keeps it awake while mirroring or transferring files. The phone is told when the Mac goes to sleep and reconnects when it wakes, with Bluetooth on at both ends. • Works better with Handoff: with Handoff on, text copied on your iPhone, Mac or HarmonyOS phone can be pasted on the others, through the Mac. While a phone is connected, Lynsi no longer uses the Mac's Bluetooth advertising. • Passwords copied from a password manager are no longer synced to the phone. • Fixed immersive mirroring shrinking the picture against the left edge of the window, where resizing could not bring it back. • The app icon now uses the standard rounded shape on macOS 12 through 15. 2.1.0 adds USB direct connection. • Connect your HarmonyOS phone by cable and transfer files even when the phone is not on Wi-Fi. On first use, allow accessory access on the phone and enter the pairing code shown on your Mac. USB debugging is not required. • Turn USB direct connection on or off in Settings. Turn it off while debugging your phone with DevEco Studio or HDC. If another program holds the USB connection, Lynsi explains how to release it. • Improved large-file transfers and connection recovery after reopening or locking the phone, with fewer repeated connection status changes. Update the phone app to 2.1.0 too. USB requires a compatible device with HarmonyOS API 14 or later. Reconnecting the cable may require accessory permission again.
