Practice the conversation before it counts. Meet realistic pushback, read the room, and leave with feedback grounded in your own words.
Some conversations matter too much to improvise. Rehearse First gives you a place to practice before the real meeting.
Describe who the other person is and what happened. Then have a text conversation with an adaptive AI counterpart that can push back, get defensive, hesitate, or open up when you address the real issue. This is practice, not a script generator.
READ THE ROOM
Small conversation cues and a changing room state help you notice pressure and resistance. Choose Balanced, Direct, or Tough to set the starting difficulty. The counterpart still responds to what you actually say.
LEARN FROM YOUR OWN WORDS
Finish with an after-action review: what landed, what weakened your point, and what was missing. Feedback quotes are checked against your typed messages. Save coaching notes on your device and revisit them in Past Rehearsals.
START WITH A REAL SITUATION
Practice critical feedback, saying no to your boss, setting a boundary, your first 1:1 with a former peer, a promotion conversation, or addressing disengagement. You can also describe a different workplace conversation.
PAY PER REHEARSAL, NOT PER MESSAGE
New users receive two free rehearsals. After that, buy consumable credit packs through in-app purchase. One credit covers a conversation and its debrief, not an individual message. Credits do not expire. There is no recurring subscription.
NO EMAIL SIGN-UP
The app uses an anonymous account for your credit balance. Rehearsal text is processed by our backend and third-party AI provider to generate responses and feedback. Saved local history contains coaching notes, not raw setup details or transcripts. Read the privacy policy for data handling and retention.
Rehearse First is a practice tool, not HR, legal, or psychological advice. Voice conversations are not included in this version.
