Every tool is free in this release: open Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files, annotate, reorganize pages, convert. No subscription, no ads, no sign-in. Word Office opens the documents already on your iPhone - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, OpenDocument, RTF, CSV and plain text - and adds the PDF tools you actually reach for. Everything in this release is free: no subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads, and no account to create. Word, Excel and PowerPoint files are supported for viewing. Editing tools apply to PDFs; Office document authoring is not included. OPEN WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE - Word: .doc, .docx, .dot, .dotx, .docm, .dotm - Excel: .xls, .xlsx, .xlt, .xltx, .xlsm, .xltm, .csv - PowerPoint: .ppt, .pptx, .pot, .pps, .ppsx, .potx, .pptm - PDF, RTF and plain text - OpenDocument .odt, .ods and .odp (text content) - Password-protected PDFs open once you enter the password A LIBRARY THAT STAYS TIDY - Search by name and filter by format - Sort by date modified, name, size or kind - Bookmark the documents you keep coming back to, then show bookmarked only - Deleted documents move to Trash and can be restored for 30 days - Import from the Files app, or open a document in place from Files ANNOTATE PDFs - Highlight, underline and strike through text - Freehand brush, plus rectangles, circles and lines - Add text notes anywhere on a page - Tap an annotation to edit or delete it - Save over the original, or save a copy and leave the original untouched ORGANIZE PDF PAGES - Drag to reorder pages - Delete the pages you do not need - Split by page ranges, for example 1-3,4-6 - Merge other PDFs onto the end of the one you are reading - Export a selection of pages as a new PDF EDIT PDF CONTENT - Change text that is already on the page - Move, replace or remove images Replacement text has to fit the existing text box; word-processor style reflow is not supported. CONVERT, WITHOUT A QUOTA - PDF to PNG images, one per page - Images into a single PDF Both run entirely on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no daily limit. YOUR DOCUMENTS STAY ON YOUR IPHONE Documents live in the app's own library on the device. This release has no cloud drive sign-in and does not upload your files anywhere. Pick the interface language in Settings, independently of your system language. This is our first release and it is deliberately small: read your documents, mark them up, reorganize your PDFs - with nothing locked behind a paywall. Tell us what to build next.
