Everything free and unlimited — Ableton racks, MPC programs, chop, chain, Studio Library. Pro is Video Slicer only ($2.99/mo) for Reels, TikTok & Shorts. Folder of samples in. Ableton drum rack out. Producer Tools Desktop turns raw samples into the files your DAW and sampler actually load — native on your Mac, processed locally, no account. FREE (unlimited) • Ableton Drum Rack (.adg). Drop samples on a 4×32 pad grid, arrange them, and get a rack you can drag straight onto a MIDI track in Ableton Live. Unlimited builds. • MPC Drum Program (.xpm). Drop samples onto banked 4×4 pads (Bank A, add B through H), preview and swap pads, then export an .xpm drum program plus its ProgramData WAV folder for Akai MPC. Unlimited exports. Save and reopen programs in progress. • Audio Chopper — slice a tempo-warped file into 2, 4, 8, or 16-bar chunks. Drop the first cue on the downbeat and the bar grid follows it. Save and reopen chop sessions. • Micro Audio Chopper — cut into bar fractions (1/2 to 1/16) or at every transient. Add, drag, and delete your own markers, pinch to zoom in close, and save sessions. • Chain Maker — build sample chains for Octatrack, MPC, Maschine, and Digitakt. Variable or uniform spacing, with .ot metadata for Octatrack and optional normalizing. • Interactive Reference — Camelot wheel with compatible keys, scales and modes, chords, note-to-Hz frequencies, genre playbooks, mix guides, producer terminology, and delay/reverb timing calculators. • Quick Reference in the menu bar — timing, frequencies, harmonics, and charts without leaving your DAW. • Studio Library — pin sample folders, files, manuals, and web links in groups right next to your tools (up to 50 groups, 500 pins). VIDEO SLICER PRO (subscription — 7-day free trial for new subscribers) • Video Slicer — cut a video into short clips at Ableton .als markers or your own timestamps. H.264 + AAC output for Reels, TikTok, and Shorts. Tools remember your work when you switch modules, so you can bounce between chopping and building without losing your place.
