Panel reads the comics you already own, from the server you already run.
Point it at a Komga library or any SMB share on your network (Mac, Synology, QNAP, any NAS) and your shelves appear on the television — covers, series, volumes, and the page you stopped on. Nothing is uploaded. Nothing is copied to a cloud. The app talks only to the servers you configure and to nothing else at all.
GUIDED PANEL VIEW
Comics are drawn for a page you hold, not a screen across the room. Panel finds the panels on each page and takes you through them one at a time, in reading order, filling the screen with each one. Press up at any time for the whole page and down to go back to panels. It works on a page it has never seen, with no preparation and no per-title setup, and where a page defeats it you get the full page rather than a guess.
READS WHAT YOU HAVE
CBZ, CBR and PDF, from Komga or from a plain SMB share. Manga read right to left, and where a server does not say so you can set it yourself, per series.
REMEMBERS WHERE YOU WERE
Your position is kept for every book, and Continue Reading puts what you are part-way through at the top of the library and on the Home screen. With Komga, progress is written back to the server, so the volume you left on the television is where you left it on your phone.
