I got the opportunity to play this early and I will say it hooked me. The gameplay style is forgiving early on and gets progressively challenging as you climb higher in the leagues. For a game that came out today I am so excited for the future with this passion project and I will be playing this for years to come. The developer is also very friendly and obviously surfs (so that’s a big plus for a surfing game).

Really sick game but the difficulty feels a bit over tuned. I’ve put 3hrs in and the bots nearly always score 17pt+ heat totals which feels a bit unfair and unrealistic. I feel like I’ve made essentially no progress. One nitpick I have the that the board stats aren’t very accurate to real life. Overall though the game is amazing and I’d definitely recommend giving it a go!

Hey thanks for the feedback! Some players have asked it to be more difficult, some think it's perfect, and others (like you) feel it can be too hard. Because of this, I am planning to implement a choice of difficulty levels that players will be able to use to customize the game to their preference. Look for this in a future update very soon. Hey thanks for playing, and sorry you lost progress. The game saves automatically at the start of each season, at mid-season, at season end, and whenever you use Save game or Quit to menu in the menu. If you could email contact@tropicfjord.com with roughly where you were (season and week) and whether this happened right after an update, I'll look into it and see if I can make a fix. Thanks!
