Protein tracking easy as 1,2,3. Get calorie and protein estimates from a photo, adjust portions and ingredients, or log a meal without a photo. Photograph your meal and get protein and calories in seconds. The AI protein tracker for people on a cut who want to hit protein daily without typing every ingredient. WHO IT'S FOR Built for people running a deliberate cut: you want to lose fat, keep the muscle you trained for, and hit protein every day. It fits if you lift three or more times a week, if you have abandoned a food log before because typing in every ingredient took longer than eating, or if you want to know where your calorie number came from before you trust it. WHAT YOU'LL USE IT FOR 1. Logging a meal from a photo in seconds 2. Hitting a daily protein target 3. Running a calorie deficit you chose, at a pace you picked 4. Checking calories and protein left without opening your phone 5. Keeping a food diary alive past week one LOG A MEAL BY PHOTOGRAPHING IT Point the camera at your plate, scan a packaged-food barcode, or photograph a Nutrition Facts label and get calories, protein, carbs, fat, and fiber in seconds. Add a note about the portion or how it was cooked before the AI looks at it. Barcode and label results include real serving choices. No camera handy? Type what you ate, or dictate it on your Apple Watch, and get the same estimate. Interrupted scans keep your photo and notes so you can finish later. CORRECT IT BEFORE IT COUNTS Every estimate is editable. Review the result, adjust the portion, or describe what the AI missed by voice or text, then confirm. The corrected version is what gets logged and what gets remembered next time. Undo is one tap away. HIT YOUR PROTEIN TARGET 123 Cal sets protein at 1.8 g per kilogram of your goal body weight, then keeps protein remaining on the home screen, on your wrist, and in the widget. RUN A DEFICIT YOU CAN DEFEND Your resting burn comes from the Mifflin-St Jeor formula, using your sex, age, height, and weight. Your daily burn multiplies that by an activity factor plus your weekly training. You choose the deficit, watch the projected goal date move as you drag it, and read a plain-English explanation of every step. The result is a calorie target you understand. CHECK YOUR NUMBERS WITHOUT YOUR PHONE The Apple Watch app shows calories and protein remaining, adds water in 250 ml taps, re-logs a recent meal with one tap, and takes a dictated meal description. Protein remaining also lives on your watch face. The home screen widget shows calories, protein, carbs, and fats left, and one tap on it opens the camera. KEEP THE DIARY ALIVE Daily totals for calories and every macro. Save favorite meals and re-log them with one tap, because most people eat the same eight breakfasts. Optional reminders at your usual meal times. Swipe a meal to delete it, swipe the day card to move between dates. Streaks, weekly charts, and history show you whether the trend is going your way. APPLE HEALTH, WIRED PROPERLY 123 Cal writes calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, and water to Health, and reads your weight back so your calorie target updates as your body changes. You decide whether workouts raise your budget. When they do, only half of your active calories above a normal day's movement count, capped at 400 kcal, so one gym session never "earns" a pizza. HONEST ABOUT ESTIMATES Photo estimates are estimates. 123 Cal shows the assumptions behind every scan and a realistic calorie range instead of pretending one number is exact. PRIVACY Your diary stays on your device. Requested AI analysis sends the selected photo or text for processing. Usage analytics starts automatically; turn it off in Menu. It excludes meal contents and health values. Policy: 123cal.app/privacy. Your first 3 days are free. After the trial, 123 Cal Pro is required to keep scanning meals. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings. Adding ingredients is easier in this update. • Better food search, including descriptions with amounts and pasted nutrition information. • Generic nutrition estimates for matching foods when packaging details aren't available. • Clearer prompts when more detail is needed, with an easier way to edit and retry. • Check the portion and nutrition before adding an ingredient.
