Japanese Mode and English Mode
In Japanese mode, every word appears in Japanese (hiragana, katakana, and some kanji) with Japanese audio—no romaji or quizzes, just pictures and sound.
In English mode, each card shows the English word, read aloud in American English. It uses the words families really say—like "dad" instead of "father."
The app's menus are in Japanese.
Monthly Plans with a 1-Week Free Trial
Part of every category is free. To unlock everything, a parent can choose a monthly plan:
- Japanese Words: all 1,200+ words in Japanese
- English Words: all 1,200+ words in English
- Japanese + English Words: everything in both languages
New subscribers can try a plan free for one week. Family Sharing is supported, so your family can use it on their own iPhone or iPad. Plans can only be purchased after the parental gate.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, including the free trial. Cancel anytime in the Settings app under Subscriptions; if you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged. An internet connection is required to purchase or restore purchases.
