Compress, redact, sign and edit PDFs on your iPhone and iPad without sending them anywhere. All 45 tools run on the device itself, and the app keeps working in airplane mode.
There is no upload, no account, no subscription and no advertising. No server does the work, because the tools ship inside the app.
WHAT IS INSIDE
Compress: shrink a PDF to a size you choose, such as 1 MB or 200 KB, for email and upload forms. Scanned documents shrink too.
Edit: change the document's own text, find and replace, and add text, highlights, drawings, images and notes.
Sign and protect: fill and sign, digital signature, redact, password protection with AES-256, unlock. Redacted text is removed from the file, not hidden under a box.
Convert to PDF: images, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, Markdown, plain text and EPUB ebooks, plus WhatsApp and AI chat transcripts.
Convert from PDF: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, PNG and text, plus pulling out the images embedded in a file.
Organize: merge, split, extract pages, delete pages, rotate, reorder and crop, remove the blank pages from a scan, and put several pages on one sheet.
Clean up and mark: flatten, repair a damaged file, strip scripts and hidden actions, remove metadata, remove watermark, add page numbers, add a watermark, change the title and author a file carries, OCR scanned documents.
Check: a privacy scanner that reports what a file gives away about you.

WORKS WITH YOUR FILES
Open any PDF from Files, Mail or Safari with Share, choose HonestPDF, and the app opens with your document already loaded into a tool that can take it. Finished files save through the system Files picker, so they land wherever you keep your documents.
PRIVACY BY ARCHITECTURE, NOT BY PROMISE
Your documents never leave the device, because there is nowhere for them to go. The app collects no data at all, contains no analytics, and has no in-app browser.
One caveat, stated plainly rather than buried: OCR in a language other than English or Turkish downloads that language's recognition model the first time you use it. The model comes down, your document never goes up.

Ratings & Reviews

Redact now removes exactly what you cover on a phone, including on rotated, landscape and zoomed pages. Before this update, a box drawn on such a page could land beside the text and leave it in the saved file. If you redacted a document with an earlier version, please check it again.
The back button now asks before leaving a tool with a file loaded, so a stray tap no longer throws your work away.
A new PDF editor: change the document's own text, find and replace, and add text, highlights, drawings, images and notes. Fill PDF is rebuilt on the same foundation, so what you type is what gets saved.
Signatures and page numbers land in the right place on rotated pages. Compress now shrinks scanned documents that carry a text layer. PDF to JPG and PDF to PNG give each page its own save button.
Fixed mistranslations in several languages.
Everything still runs on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
