The gorge yawns below you, and for a heartbeat everything hangs in the air – your ride, your record, your pulse. A flip, a clean loop, a landing on all four wheels, and the coins rain down. Or you crash into the dust and burst out laughing. Both end with the same thought: just one more run. YOUR MOUNTAIN. YOUR TRACK. Sooner or later you stop wanting to drive what someone else built. In the track editor you pull your own mountain out of the ground with one finger. Shape hills, tear open gorges, string up bridges, put ramps exactly where they hurt. Scatter nitro, fuel cans and scenery, drop the finish line – then take it for a test run right away. Too easy? Make the hill steeper. Too nasty? Widen the bridge. Your track keeps its own best time, just like every other. TWO ROPES, A FEW PLANKS, NOTHING UNDERNEATH The rope bridges are a science of their own.
